It's not a kit. The parts are all painted using the same paint as you would on the exterior. Base coat, clear coat. I have to rework two pieces for small runs but other than that it came out ok.

Here is what I added to kind of round up the color matching. Waiting for my LED's to come in to get the cupholders finished. Doing an ambient lighting mod for the front, cups and the rear also. Should be very similar to the ford ambient light kit but for a great deal less money.

Can it be glued down with a automotive adhesive?

I'm sure it has been done 100 times, but as soon as I pulled into the driveway I has to tint my tail lights. I do not like the look of chrome tail lights on my car at all. Just my preference. SO here it is. Looks way darker in pictures than it does in person.

The inside of the cup holers will be sprayed in a semi reflective black so that when I add my lighting in the cup holder it can me nice and bright. The front cubby will be a matte black and has a rubber mat that goes in there also.

Waiting on my katzkins leather kit to come in so I started playing with the interior a little bit. Took possesion of the car yesterday and the mods began 15 minutes after I got home.

I am doing the same thing to my Edge and I ordered my LED's and resistors with wiring of 12 bux. When you get it post pics and I can try to offer you some install help. I will pick it up on Wednesday after they get the two finishing touches done I wanted. I have big plans for the Edge and I hope to document it all and post my project as it goes along.
