I actually don't like the factory tail lights that the edge has with all the chrome i'm in the process of purchasing the Edge sport tail lights for the blackout look. So it looks like the hood scoop idea is a no go LOL anyways i think the only way i would put a scoop on would be to buy a new hood and cut out and mold something nice like the srt-8 charger or something like that. I'll have to say it was fun to see everyone chyme in on this question thanks for everyone's input it was entertaining Matt

The scoop i would like to see fit properly would be a Roush scoop that is made for the F-150 i have the measurements just wondering how it would look

To all Edge Forum members I have a question or request. Has anybody thought of putting a hood scoop on the edge. I've been thinking about it and though like an F-150 style scoop or something along those lines would look nice. Can anyone phototshop-up some pics with different styles and see what it would look like? Matt Rochette

i can't remember which thread I was reading the audio forum but I remember someone saying the passed it threw a grommet on the passenger side and they said that if you were using 4 gauge its a piece of cake. sorry i cant help you out any more Matt Rochette

you can do what some of us do to modify the headlights we bake the head lights in the oven repeatedly at 200 degrees and use cedar shims to lightly pry the glue apart and use a utility knike to cut it free. once the two part are separated you can re seal them using a 2 part epoxy that will guaranty a water proof seal. If you want you could stop their or you can take it once step further while you have them open you can modify your tail lights to make them look like the ford edge sport tail lights by painting the chrome and giving them that black out effect If you decide to go this route and paint them please take LOTS of pictures as their are plenty of members that would love to see how this turns out hope this helps Matt Rochette

So i decided to re-do this post i wasn't happy with the wording Hello all forum members just wanted to make a quick post of the LED's i used to convert all the bulbs on your edge. It's surprisingly easy and dirt cheap and looks amamzing! Front map lights: 2 x 194 T10 LED Light Bulb Rear passenger dome light: 3 x 39mm Festoon LED Dome Bulbs Rear cargo light: 1 x 39mm Festoon LED Dome Bulbs License plate (same as map lights Sylvania's website is incorrect) : 2pc 194 T10 LED Light Bulb Now that’s where you could stop and you'd be all set but some Edge model have puddle lamps located underneath the mirrors. So here is a description on how to remove them as well as the correct bulb you will need. With a flat head screw driver light press on the black tab and unit will drop out carefully twist it and play with it until it comes out. CAREFULLY remove the electrical contacts they are white metal and could break easily. Now use some acetone on a q-tip and place a small amount around the glued seam and use a utility knife (don't cut yourself) to cut the glue away it will be loosened by the acetone. Take the bulb out and install the new LED's. Make sure you test the bulbs before gluing the lens back on LED's only go in one way. Now use some super glue to re-attach the lenses and re install the puddle lamp and your done! Puddle lamps: 2 x 35mm Festoon LED Light Bulbs All my bulbs were purchased on Ebay for less than 15$ shipped to my door in Canada Hope this helps Matt Rochette

Sorry 1 more thing the 2010 Ford Edge sport comes with 265/40/22 and it does not throw off the speedo

sorry about the delay forgot to check the thread Yes its comfortable. these tires have little road noise I'm finicky and I have no problems with them. As far as the bumps I live in Ottawa Canada and the roads up here are horrendous compared anything in the states and its not bad the only thing i pay more attention to is the pot holes and well needless to say 6000Km on them and not a ding or scratch so you'd be good to go. I have an intermittent issue that my 2008 edge wont turn over but if I try it again it starts right away i have had this happen a hand full of times can anyone help me understand this issue.

I want to make my own sport tail lights tape off all the chrome and paint it black then re-assemble i think it would make a great diy project to save a few hundred bucks
