  1. Well just experienced the same problem on my 2010 Edge SEL. At the beginning I was going to deal with it, but when it happened three times in a row took it to dealer. They couldn’t find any problems with evaporator system or indication, so they contacted Fleet engineer. Respond was to replace fueling pipe and see if it helps. The vehicle was over dealer for almost a week, (they gave me a loaner) just waiting for part from Canada. Took them about two hours to replace it. Fuel it to full, so far no problem, will update at next fueling.
  2. I have 2010 Ford Edge and it does same thing. I know that 2011 models has little different engine, but I was tolled at my dealer that noise coming from injectors when they are operating, and that is normal. Unfortunately on some models it quieter than others
  3. I have 2010 Ford Edge and it does the same thing. I know that 2011 models has little different engine, but I was tolled at my dealer that that noise coming from injectors when they open and close to get fuel pass in and that normal. Unfortunately on some models it quieter than others
  4. I had the same problem with mine 2010 SEL. My car was in the garage and just overnight battery went completely dead. I leave in So Cal, so weather is not a problem. I called Ford's road assistance, and when he hooked up power source car started right away. Battery and alternator tested ok and leads were tight. It is not battery problem ether. I think it somewhat relay or something get stuck some time to time and draining the battery when car is not driven. So far it happened once. Dealer could not find anything wrong ether.
  5. Hi chloe13 I think on all edges regardless of year rear bumper cover bulging at hot temperatures. I even saw that on Lincoln MKX due to almost same sheet metal and body parts. Even if you look 2011 model, you can see that only front fascia and interior got changed. So who knows maybe 2011 will do the same.
  6. Well mine bulge in the same places exactly as yours. If you read my posting, I mentioned before, my dealer agree to replace it with new one. It is not the fit problem, it is poor quality plastic, so even when they replace it, it is still could do the same thing. So I decided not even bother. I have bumpers being replaced on some other vehicle before and I know that it will come from manufacture unpainted. It is a good possibility that paint will eventually starting to peel off specially where was masking tape used. My sugestion leave it alone unless you trust Ford's body shops.
  7. 2011 model has a built in camera, with video projecting to your nav screen. The system is not camparable with prior model years.
  8. On Friday took my ford in ford's body shop. They looked my bumper and were surprised why dealership sends me to them. According to shop dealer supposed to initiate a warranty repair order and then direct me to shop. Any way, after approximately fifteen minutes of pleasant talking, and that was surprisingly true, about edges bumper warping problem which they new they has it, I went back to dealer. This time I ask for a service manger. After five minutes of explanation what is going on he sad that it will be replaced under warranty. However that is common issues with Edges. Quality of their plastic bumper covers not so well. I am still thinking whether to replace it or leave it like it is. New bumper will probably get warped under sun again and I can be at least guarantee that new bumper paint will not get loose or start cracking in an period of time..
  9. Ok, folks. Took it to a dealer on Friday and like I thought they don’t now what to do with it. They refer me to a ford's body shop to take some pictures and measurements. Following pictures will be sent to ford for their judgment. See what happens next. It is really not a big of the deal, but I think it should be brought to their attention. By the way I have a ford's original protective tape on top of the bumper cover, it just could be reactions of the glue, who knows....
  10. Yes, that's my next move, see what heppens.
  11. Noticed recently that in the very hot days, if the car sits outside for a while rear bumper cover start bulging in two places. When I brought my car into garage it went normal. Is that an issue?
  12. Just noticed recently, when I do a hard turn at slow speed every time steering wheel going to neutral I feel a slight transmission kick. No other noises or anything else. I wonder if it is normal?
  13. I think this is good idea. I bought mine at Galpin Ford (LA) in February. Did the same as you, went first to Vista Ford in SF Valley then Galpin. Both were saying it is normal. Will try go one more time, see what happens. Let me know of outcome of your trip. Thanks
  14. Thanks for advise. I have talled them about that issue several times, but they keep telling me it is normal. Once I brought vehicle to dealer to see if they can duplicate the problem, but with all outside noise it make it impossible.
  15. Thanks for advice. You know I leave is S. California and it is relatively warm. So I haven't even use heater yet, and sound coming from the back.
