does any one know how do the running/break light bulbs compare in brightness to the stock ones? do they reflect as good? are they any brighter?

The factory tail lights are just a little too flashy for my liking. I'm looking for a black set of led tail lights, where the entire break light part of the lens is black and filled with individual led bulbs. minimal chrome, I just want an led aftermarket look.

For the love of God!! You would think someone, by now, would have put out LED taillights for the edge! anyone heard anyhing? HELP!!

try getting a small audio source switch they come in all different sizes with two to 5 imputs.(just an example) if you use a switch it will seperate the signals instead of trying to stack them. this should solve your problem. they should have these at radio shack.

how to modify stock taillights to meet uk requirements... This could be a confusing but also helpful. SO I'LL DO MY BEST ... 1.) go to a place that installs trailer hitches ask them to figure out what each wire does that go into the back of the brake light bulb on the edge. since some cars require splicing of stock wires to tie into for aftermarket wire haness for a trailer hitch plug. this shoul be easy for them. if you figure that ouT, the rest is fairly simple.2.) you can disconect the ones that make the light blink and tie those into some new small blinker/running light wire harness plugs, that you can get at a local automotive store for pretty cheap. you can plug the matching amber light bulbs into these. they make little light harnesses that are just a rubber gromet. you would drill a small hole in the back of the reverse light/clear section of the tail light lense. Push the gromet in with the light plug wired to the correct wires you will have an amber blinker in the top (clear) section of you tail light and that should solve your problem. I would think with minimal labor charges and a help from a local trailer hitch shop you might be able to legally enjoy an edge in th uk. good luck!!! ill try to figure out wich wires are what for you since i just realized you dont have an edge yet. but ask around, maybe youll get lucky...

Hey there, I was jus wondering if there is a lighter aplication available, one that creates more of a smoked look than a blacked out look? I know the one on the silver edge is not quite blacked out. Just dont wana make it as obvious and get rolled. about how much is the purchase price plus the core price that we have to pay and then how much of that is returned once we ship back the stock lights? thanks for all of your imput!!

hello, everyone. So to hop in this line of satisfied customers how much is the charge for painting the tails? also what would be an average shipping charge from la california. the finished product looks awesome!! also how many people would be in line ahead of me? thanks

the bracket is held on by two thick coarse threaded screws. they are spaced wider than a license plate hole spacing. as far as plugs, i used trunk interior plugs from a 99 corolla. they were a dollar a piece from the toyota dealership. they are the kind that hold the felt trunk liner in place. the finished look is raised about a 16th of an inch and about three eigth's of an inch in diameter. i color matched them with touch up paint from dealership. i figured ill prob need it some day anyway. this look is a hell of a lot better than with the front plate or just holes. it looks finished. then nothing takes away from the carbon body kit or the 3 piece billet insert i have installed!!

does anyone know if the sync system can be added to a navigation system from the 07 edge? any info is helpful!!

Just some words of advice with the billet grille. i had it installed on my edge and i also have the 3d carbon body kit. depending on the maker of the grille it will need to be modified to fit that body kit. mine was made by precision grilles. if yours is too, you will need to cut the top bar off of the bottom insert. it was made to fit the stock air dam. not the body kit. ive made precision aware of this and the are planning on making one that fits the body kit. but once its on the body kit you will be stoked on the results.

Has anyone heard anything about aftermarket tail lights for an edge going into production?

the billet grille is made by precision grilles and its 3 pcs. it costs approx $300.00. my car will look a little different than most because mine has a color matched body kit. but there are pictures on line of the stock sel+. the grille is a bitch to install, you have to "flop down" the whole front end. and remove all of the plastic from behind. but if your handy its totally possible. ill post pics as soon as i can. sorry

i just purchaced the licenceplate lights from the above link and they look great. they were only 12 bucks including the shipping. definitely a worthwhile mod!

Are you fairly certain that it just pops off? i dont want to just start prying at it, an break it. i know my buddies focus just popped off but im kinda hessitant. i have a new billet allumium logo to replace it. but i dont want to take off the whole interior pannel if i dont have to. thanks again for your imput!
