Visited the syncmyride web site today, and there is apparently a software update for Sync. Here is the text on the website. Dealer updated only, cant do it at home.... darn. I think it means that when you are stopped and the engine is running, you are getting really bad gas mileage at that moment. zero miles per gallon.

I agree the BLIS works well. Its worth the package just for that.

I have the CTA cross traffic alert system on my Edge. I have been pretty disappointed with it. It says it can detect a vehicle up to 45 feet away traveling less than 15 mph. I have found in reality it is not sensitive enough. The approaching vehicle doesnt register a beep warning until its within 6-8 feet of my car. Too late for the warning to do much good. Is it just my car, or have others found the CTA to be sensitive enough?

I have the NAV on my Edge, and I have noticed an irritating feature. Perhaps someone can tell me how to turn it off. The red arrow denoting your car always has a white BLINKING circle around it. I am probably the only one, heh, but I find the blinking circle annoying. Anyway to have it Not blink?

You can also change the senstivitiy of the "rain sensor" by rotating the end of the Wiper control where it says "AUTO" from low to high. I have found that makes a big difference in how often it wipes

That may be the answer. My SEL is 18" wheels, and FWD. I have the dams. Appears that only the FWD have them, AWD does not.

My SEL has exactly that piece of plastic in front of the tire, My SEL was made on Oct 5th.

Mine has an obvious 4" dam in front of the front tires, cant miss it. Its an SEL though.

What $1500 Ford rebate? Where can I find information on this? All I have seen is the $1000 rebate that ended on Oct 4th.

So what does the date on the bottom of the VIN Window Sticker mean? Mine says 9/27/2010. (not the date on the VERY bottom that is always the current date) I was hoping that was the build date.

I ordered my Edge on Sept 13th, got my VIN on Sept 27th, 2 weeks later. I assume my build date will be within a couple weeks after VIN assignment, no? and then 2+ weeks to ship I estimate. Am I way off here? Im on the West Coast.
