I had a lil trouble getting mine squeezed in there too. Not a lot of trouble though. I can tell improve in mileage which is good. Still lovin my Edge and livin on the Edge! :happy feet:

I agree with capnkirk. It will def. not hurt anything. If they had come out with it sooner, I would have already had it on mine when i first purchased the vehicle. I seem to be getting a few more MPG already. And like he says, it saves money in the long run.

I got mine from autoanything.com, too. It got here in about 5 days. I installed it and havent really driven it enough to tell a difference yet. They were the cheapest I found and pretty quick. Very pleased.

I dont know all about her exactly. I saw a few things she posted and swore to never come back, which I find silly. I do agree that people take things too seriously. I jus get so sick of reading all the crap arguments that go on on these forums. But I guess, like you say, they are everywhere. I am on here to have fun and learn things I didnt know about my Edge. Very interesting posts at times, but all in all I love this forum.

You seriously need to get over your "God" complex. I can tell your a male with an ego problem and probably dont have very many friends. Only a male would have a name like yours thinking it is cool. Since you are SO interested, I will tell you that I DID do my homework on this vehicle before I bought it. I am not gonna go drop cash on a car I dont like. I went further than a few weeks, I took several months and was FULLY aware of what I was getting. That is the whole point of this forum isnt it? To talk about your Edge, likes and dislikes. We recently took the Edge on a road trip. It was all great EXCEPT for not having the lumbar on the passenger seat. I didnt really notice it until the hubby and I switched seats and I let him drive (scary) LOL! My back got to aching and I was not too happy. He has a 03 Mustang and both seats have power lumbar. Then you get in the expensive a$$ Edge and they have MANUAL lumbar ?!?!?!?!?! AND only on the driver side? I dont get it. Anyone else noticed this or had any issues with it?

Hmm, ok thanks....... Ford charges too much for theirs though. I am gonna look around and see what all is out there. Good to know it is possible and not some silly thing I thought up, HAHA.

I got one from dealer too for about $55 total after taxes and they installed it for me for no charge. Sounds like someone got ripped off for $120. :o They did have to drill holes in hood, but it does a good job of keeoing bugs off. Looks pretty sharp too. It is kinda a pain to wash under/around it, but o well. It serves its purpose and I love it!!! :shades:

Ok, where did you get them and how much ? How hard were the wires to run ? I am looking into getting these for mine really soon. I have 2 kids and I think it would make trips MUCH easier with them. Also, I havent looked into it too much yet, but you might know..... can you get them where they can be stand alone players for diff movies for each child and then can they play the same movie if they want to watch the same thing? Confusing I know, lol, but really simple at the same time. I want to try to get ones that do both but I am not sure if it is possible.

There is also www.fueleconomy.gov and you put in pretty much same info and it tracks your mileage for you. I have 3776 miles and got 18.3mpg this tank. Thats about 70% city and 30% hwy. I dont know why, but I also have an 03 Mustang GT and when it hits the 3000 mile mark, due for an oil change, its gas mileage starts to suck. Pretty much the same thing for the Edge I have noticed. My mileage went down to 15.5 when I hit 3000. Thus I got an oil change and it went back up. I dont know how accurate it is, but that is just what I have noticed about my vehichles.

Yea, I got a call today and they told me it was from the overflow valve. Tranny was full and everything looked good. Glad it wasnt serious.

Well, I made it to my appt and guess what.... they didnt get to it today. They will look at it first thing in the morning though. so I will keep yall posted. And BTW, im not pissed at the dealer. I am pissed I paid that much for a *new* car and it having problems this soon. It is uncalled for in my book. They will get it worked out though and I will once again be a happy Edge owner

I have seen how the Lexus has the running boards from the factory and it looks pretty sharp. Has anyone heard anything on aftermarket ones for the Edge ?

It *might* be but I dont think so since it was at the seal on tranny. I will find out soon enough...... Let ya know
