I am wondering if I need tow mirrors on the Edge for towing a pop up camper. If so, what models do you recommend? Any advice on towing with the Edge? Does anyone else here tow a camper?

Thanks for the diagram and info! That saves me a ton of time testing and research as well as time under the car snaking a wire to the battery. The control module does not consume that much power that it needs it's own feed. Dan

The is no such thing as a stupid question... Only inquisitive idiots. The wiring harnesses offered by Curt and others require an power connection terminated at the battery. Is it possible to simplify the process and splice into the outlet in the rear left panel,d which has to be opened anyways?

Due to a minor rear end collision (shut up and drive, lady!), I had to have the rear bumper replaced on my 2010 Edge. I asked if it were possible to get a lower bumper cover with the OEM hitch cut out. Now I need to install Ford's hitch. Has anyone installed this hitch? Is it any different than the other hitches available? Thanks! Dan

Steel is a bigger conductor of heat than glass. In my 2.5 months of use, I have found that the BAMR on our 2010 Edge does not heat up the car as much as our other two cars. In addition, I can vent the car on really hot days to allow the air to circulate a little more, reducing the internal temp without compromising security.

Hi Everyone. Yes, first time poster. Red 2010 Edge SEL with Camel leather interior and a BAMR. We are loving it so far. I was wondering what everyone does for their oil change intervals. The manual says 7500 miles for normal use, but the dealership is sending me emails that I am due for my first at 3750. Thanks! Dan
