...
I'm installing a set of h&r springs on my 13' 2wd and got the front done pretty quick and easy tonight. I'm going to do the rears tomorrow, does anyone have any tips or directions on replacing the rear springs? I'm not too familer with the ind. rear suspension and can't seem to find anything online about replacing the rears. Thanks in advance. UnfocusedEdge
This is how I did my focus. Similar set up. Jack up the rear end, install jack stands. Now place jack under bottom of spring. Jack it up to take off a bit of tension. Undo bolt. SLOWLY let the jack down. The spring should just fall out. Do the reverse to install. ...
I believe that is how it is on the older edges, but the new one is a bit different (so I've been told). I'm pretty familiar with an IRS suspension, but I had a shop do mine (more off because I was lazy) and he said it was more than he assumed it would be too... Either way its done now.
