doubleJ
Hi All, I apologize for bringing this up again, if this is a topic already discussed :surrender:. Just that I couldn't find it in the forum and wanted some expert take on this. I purchased a set of MGP caliper covers for my 2013 Edge Limited with 20 inch chrome rims. While in a casual conversation with a buddy of mine who is a Dodge Challenger owner, he mentioned that these caliper covers pose some kind of nuisance when driving around with it in the winter as it tends to accumulate snow between the covers and the caliper themselves and when frozen up can hamper with the braking of the car. Although I have not seen this being mentioned anywhere on any forums or net searches, am eager to find out if anyone out there has ever faced this issue or knows it to be true? Ok, which now leads me to my second question. If the above is true and, if I do decide to take them off and on every year while switching between winter sets, would that eventually mess up the clips and threads and render them useless? Anyone been in these shoes before? Thx
