joshj84 Posted November 19, 2013 Report Share Posted November 19, 2013 Hey guys so I ordered the Morimoto kit from TRS - Morimoto 3Five AMP Ballasts as well as the heavy duty wiring harness and 55w hid lights Anyways the way I have it setup is its all wired and then the driver side is hooked into the wiring harness to send the signal that the lights are turning on. My second odd issue is my passenger blinker blinks 4 times rapidly with my lights on now. If I turn my lights off and turn the blinker on it works fine.. Any suggestions? I have the wiring harness and ballasts grounded in the same spot on both sides where I found two negative cables already hooked up (1 on each side) around the center beam (crush bar).. joshj84 Posted November 19, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 19, 2013 Okay good news I found out they shipped the wrong ballast and sent the 3five vs the 5five.. anyways that'll fix the cold start issue.. RustyEdge Posted November 20, 2013 Report Share Posted November 20, 2013 I had an issue with other lights when I installed my HID kit, turned out that it was a loose ground wire. I would suggest doubling back and making sure that all of your grounds are good grounds themselves and that they are tight. I used a factory ground that was under the headlights and toward the front bumper for both sides of mine and seems to be a solid ground. -Russ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
