2012 Edge A/V and Bluetooth Mods

Hi,

 

I'm driving Ford Edge 2012 base model, happily for four years. Haven't done any mods yet.

 

Have two questions..

 

Part 1:

Since mine is base model, it doesn't have bluetooth or phone sync functions. Believe its included from 2013 onwards.

 

It has become an issue for me to play music from my phone/ipod, as well as managing phone calls.

 

I could go shop a third party gadget to add the bluetooth using Aux ( i.e Himbox). But I want to know is it possible to upgrade these features with ford parts?

 

Which is a better option??

 

 

Past 2:

Second part of my question is - to know suggestions on changing Audio/Video system (or attaching it on top of dashboard).?? This solution could include bluetooth function as well.
