Driver Heated seat dont work

Recommended Posts

I have a 2010 MKX that will not heat the driver's seat. When I turn it on, I hear a click, the fan spools up for a second, then I hear another click after a few seconds. After this, the driver's side is completely unresponsive until I stop and start the ignition again.
Passenger side functions fine, and doesn't have that 2nd click (until I turn it off), so I'm thinking the driver's side is faulting out for some reason. i was thinking its one of the TED units have gone bad. When i ran the the DCSM on demand test it spooled up both fans in the seat then does the passenger side goes through the test as well

then i ran the DCSM On demand test

Status:
- Previously Set DTC - Not Present at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

Module: Driver/Dual Climate-Control Seat Module
