Viktor Breeden
I have a 2010 MKX that will not heat the driver's seat. When I turn it on, I hear a click, the fan spools up for a second, then I hear another click after a few seconds. After this, the driver's side is completely unresponsive until I stop and start the ignition again. Passenger side functions fine, and doesn't have that 2nd click (until I turn it off), so I'm thinking the driver's side is faulting out for some reason. i was thinking its one of the TED units have gone bad. When i ran the the DCSM on demand test it spooled up both fans in the seat then does the passenger side goes through the test as well this is what forscan gave me for a DTC Code: B272C - Driver Differential Temperature Fault Status: - Previously Set DTC - Not Present at Time of Request - Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC Module: Driver/Dual Climate-Control Seat Module then i ran the DCSM On demand test Code: B103C - Thermoelectric Driver Open Load Status: - Previously Set DTC - Not Present at Time of Request - Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC Module: Driver/Dual Climate-Control Seat Module
