frankdodd
Hey guys, I could use some help before I take the car into the shop again (already been twice). I was scratching my head for a while yesterday!!! Car is leaking transmission fluid. I've already added 2 quarts over the past few weeks. (both times the shop said the car isn't leaking...) I added a dye to the transmission fluid and got a black light to help identify where the leak is. When I put it up on the jack yesterday it looks like the leak is coming from the hose coming down from the power steering reservoir. But how can that be? I put the dye in the transmission and the dye is coming out of the power steering! not only that- the power steering fluid level has maintained a constant level of fluid. Wanting to see if anyone has any insight before I take it into the dealership and probably get robbed! 2009 Lincoln MKX awd. Thanks in advance!!
