airtrons Posted January 31, 2015 Report Share Posted January 31, 2015 I'm looking at these as an option to get projector for a HID conversion. The OEM uses a H11 for low beam and a 9005 for hi beam. TheWizard Posted January 31, 2015 Report Share Posted January 31, 2015 If it's like the projector conversion I installed on my Mustang, you no longer have a separate bulb for high beam. You plug the factory high beam connector into the new lamp and it operates an internal shutter in the projector that changes the beam pattern for high and low beam from the single bulb.
