  1. PM me if the sets are still available
  2. Wow- sorry for posting this so late! Just saw the request for more information now. I did install the harness. All in, was about an hour to get the job done, with a small hick-up in the process. Retrosolutions helped all along the way. What pictures do you want posted specifically? I can post anything that is needed that will help out. either post here, or just PM me! Jeff
  3. Courtesy of a previous conversation with 07CRUSH: http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt191/101ranger101/DSCF4218.jpg I think his is till for sale btw- in case you are just looking for parts, rather than DIY work. Jeff
  4. Hi all, Please give me some insight if you have experience with this... Have set up the ASWC- all LEDs show correct linkage to the Pioneer AVIC-X920BT. Upon start up, the volume, media, track forward etc work fine. About 2 minutes later, the steering wheel controls don't work. On occasion, on a longer drive, they do start to work again. Very sporatic, and it is really p!ssing me off! Anyone know what is going on??? Please help! Jeff
  5. hi Bill, Been following along on this thread for a while- good luck on your quest. You have been through hell it sounds like on this one, and I feel for you. Always feels worse when you are being victimized by the system. Keep it up, lots of support here for you, Jeff
  6. What is the easiest (cheapest..?) way to get a new grille for painting? i don't mind the work of sanding, priming, painting etc, but don't want to be too far out of pocket. Thanks in advance all, Jeff
  7. Go with the Scion xB one that Igcitng found- looks awesome, easy install, and protects the bumpers angled "lip". Pretty inexpensive, and not cheap vinyl. Jeff
  8. I put the NV 35W HIDs in mine from Retro Solutions. It took a very short period of time, mostly just trying to dtermine the best place to mount the ballast. I would highly recommend them, Todd is very helpful, so really nothing to worry about (just as good before purchase as after). Go for it. The NV is very much bright enough, and is a fair bit less expensive. Good luck, Jeff
  9. Good to hear it can be done. Keep us posted on how the install goes in the cargo space- I would be interested to see how it goes. Take pictures along the way, and good notes!
  10. Please post pictures, parts, and how the install went. Anything we all can learn? Things you would do differently? Thanks!

Welcome- lots of good people here, lots of great support. If you mod, find anything interesting, or hear anything down the grapevine, this is the forum for you. Jeff
  12. Good work- glad to hear that the install went off without any real hitch. How long did it take? Did you manage to take any pictures during the install?
  13. I talked to an installed yesterday- apparenlty the PAC-SWI-PS is an older unit no longer in production. There is a new "all-in"one" deveice that has replaced all the vehicle specific devices for simplicity sake (and likely to either charge more or to decrease manufacturing costs). You will need to go with something like the PAC-C2R-FRD1 if yours is a nav-capable device. The metra dash kit (95-5812) will work fine- it is a much simpler version that the 99-5812 which has both single and double din ports, and a drawer shell for single din units, assuming your device is doulbe din. Save a little $ as well. I hope this helps. Jeff
  14. Hi all- If you weren't aware Amazon.com has a 30% off deal right now on Pioneer audio, but the kicker is if you order another qualifying part, you get another 10% off. There is also a $100 rebate on the AVIC-x920bt unit on top of that. Needless to say, I ordered one. Since it is en route, I wanted to order all the installation parts so I could hook it up, but this is where I need some help. I believe I need: PAC-SWI-PS to maintain my steering wheel controls Metra 95-5812 double din dash kit PAC C2R-FRD1 radio interface to connect the AVIC to the Ford BAA20 antenna adapter This is for installation into my 2010 Ford Edge SEL, nothing special re: sub/ amp. Not too sure about the Sirius interface, and what parts I will need for that, or if I will bother. Any/ all help would be greatly appreciated. Jeff
