Tru Dat! :hysterical2: Here's the Ford dealer

Hello to all, I stumbled across this post because I had noticed a LOT of water dripping from the bottom of my wife 2010 Edge doors after raining during the night. I am an Expert in Classic Muscle car Restoration and I have numerous complete restorations under my belt. I would like to point out that the Doors, Fenders and Quarter Panels all have water running behind them. They all have their own kind of "Weep Hole" that lets the water to run out. You DEFINITELY don't want to seal these weep holes up with anything. Especially Silicone which promotes rust on automobiles. Water does NOT run up wards and it needs a place to flow. As far as the rust, and it is definitely rust, go buy some rust inhibitor treatment and clean it up and apply it. I will be pulling my door panels off and doing my own investigating soon. The Sync specific forum is not working so I'll post this here. Why should I register on Sync my ride .com? It just seems like big brother is watching. I do all my own servicing. I don't want ford telling me to change my oil or to put air in my left front tire. Another thing is I think it would be putting more unnecessary info on that Idiotic Carfax. I just haven't seen any good reason to register. What do you think? Thanks!

Unless you paid in full for it. A 2010 with 0% works out better. Or even 1.9% for 6 years. It did for us.

Hello to all. Jeez..Time flies. My 2010 Edge is already a year old. We've only owned it for 3 weeks! Funny thing she said when we drove over the curb at the dealer. "It already depreciated" Anyway, We, and I mean We, Love this car. It is truly amazing how many people look at it as we cruize to the Phillies game or down the shore or whatever. Guess it's the 20"ers, killer red paint, or the BFMR as I like to refer to it as. Looking forward to sharing and reading info with you all on our new Ford Edge . Oh, It's a Limited Edition Model and we really like the Ambiant Lighting. Ron
