The tunes are being revised gradually. It is unknown what the new trans and ptu can handle. The ST also has a different engine management system so has to be tuned different. If you compare the 2 dyno charts though the ST is down in hp but puts out more torque with the current tune over the sport, so it may never see the gains the sport gained with a tune it'll be amazing if it does though with nothing blowing up and if they can relax the torque management in 1st and 2nd.

 

 

How do you know the tunes are being revised? We have not heard anything from Livernois? They seem to have no updates on the ST tune.

It's going very well, we're up to 22 updates and every time Torrie sends me a new one I can feel the difference from the last. I'm still using the stock IC, peak boost I've seen is 18.3, can't remember what stock was.

Do you have any mods or is your car stock?

Does he also tune the transmission shifts? I have the Livernois tune and I would not call it a night and day difference. 

The people who will be able to answer the transmission question is at the ST SUV experience. Unfortunately, the dealer/models at some of the booths at car shows don't much other than what they're told. They are there to sell cars and are not going to answer any negative questions about the car. Anyone going or has gone the ST SUV experience?

because all the performance parts that fit the Sport, also fit the ST, kinda hard to truly hate a vehicle that is pretty much the same as the one you own. I don't hate the ST either, then I'd have to hate my own Sport. I'm just hoping you ST guys get some real performance parts made but they all seem more concerned with getting their headlights to move.

Ford included power folding mirrors on the European Edges, so I don't see why they could not add it to the US model. Power folding mirrors come standard on some SUVs costing less than Edge.

The US Edges never had power folding mirrors, but the 2016-2017 European models do. Please see the video below and go to the 6:36 mark.

I know, and I find it funny, and it happens when a new model comes out. We'll see about the fastest claim once the reviews start coming it, and it does weight 200lbs less than the outgoing model. It's too big for me, but it's not bad, and I don't hate it.

Not sure if this is Sync related, but the Ford Pass App stop showing the vehicle location. It worked when I first got the car, but then stopped working. Anyone experienced the same issue? 

The network connection needed dialog keeps popping up, and there are no updates. Anyone know how to stop this from popping up? Please see the attached picture.

I have chosen to seek legal counsel over going with any arbitration method (at this point anyway - including going through Ford arbitration as was suggested by some forum members). We were advised by an acquaintance of my wife (who is an attorney but cannot take our case his firm represents dealers in the area) that it was "highly advisable" in New York State to seek legal representation on lemon law cases. We are having serious issues with finding someone locally who will even entertain a "lemon law" case, as the multiple recommendations we received regarding attorneys all have said "I pass". It would seem that in our region of the state that lemon law cases are rare; highly specialized; and not worth the time of an attorney in terms of return on their time (and therefore $$$). I did manage to find one attorney locally who seems very lukewarm with our situation and does not seem to want to advocate for us. So, the next hurdle (which I did not anticipate) is to find representation from someone who actually will represent us in a lemon law case.

 

What a nightmare this has been! Anybody want to buy/trade an almost new 2019 Ford Edge ST that was used for 9 total days and has 520 miles on the odometer? ?

 

You want to lemon law it because they had it over 30 days and you don't want it anymore? Did you buy it or lease it?

Not everyone cares about racing and stripping their cars to race them.  I could care less what you think of the ST, the bottom line it's a better car than the Sport, and it's only $1300 more, and you get so much more for the money.  

I hope Ford build the RS and can't wait to have one in my garage.? Some of you are setting yourselves to be disappointed already.  I'm going to love hearing all the bitching and moaning of what an RS should be from a bunch of unhappy Sport owners.?
