Hi, I just installed latest update, now the phone section only have a "connect to phone" box but it is not light up ?? before the update, the word & box was highlighted if no phone is connected !!! Is it now normal like that or something wrong on the update ???

After washing the car today, few tiny rust specs (most likely contaminates) appears on the lower part of the car. A clay bar application will take them out for sure but I don't feel like doing one for just a few specs. Is there any other way to take the few out till next clay bar time ? Rubbing Compound ?

Hi, the dealer replaced the APIM and V2.11 but they cannot get the NAV working, what kinds of info show on the wed site for your car ? mine just said Gen2-V2.11 BT4T-14D544-BM. I wonder did they forget to install some apps ?

I also noticed the front cup holder is not as bright as the second cup holder, only a little light from the back of the front cup holder light up. I asked the service people when I have the first oil change and they said they don't know, they said they will check other edge and get back to me. So, if I read it right here, the front cup holder lighting strip is normal to be dull and not as bright as the second cup holder ?? Thanks for any reply ...

How to "Make sure the phone is set to use Sync for audio" ?? Isn't pairing them by bluetooth will take care of that ? Do I need to do something on the SYNC ? I'm lost on this one .....

Hi, I'm having trouble using the Vivaz Pro with SYNC, It looks like paired OK, I can voice calling someone thru SYNC and it call them on the phone itself but I can not hear or talk thru the SYNC System ???? Same with incoming, I can hear it ring thru the SYNC but as soon as I pickup, no sound !!!!! HELP !!!

HI, for using the voice dialing command, ( "Call XXX at home" ), the phone needs to be able to make voice dialing on its own first or as long as its bluetooth connected to My Ford Touch will be OK ??

When I got my 2011 Edge, the dealer told me to do the first oil change at 6 months or 8000 km. Don't we change the oil after the break-in period (1600 km) ? or no need to do that anymore for today's car ?

Thanks guys,.... yes, it is just a few surface scratch. First, I discover a 4 straight line scratch about 3" long (very noticeable) and I asked the dealer to fix it. The guy just use something like the 3M stuff but can not take them out then he took the Edge back inside. After 15 minutes, the original scratches gone but few large circular mark show up (just surface scratch). I was running late to work, so the dealer said drive it and if I still feel uncomfortable then set up appointment with the body shop to fix them. With the way they fix the first scratch and few more scratch show up, I think I can do a better job myself. Where can I find those 3M finishing compound ? Meguiar's scratch X2.0 = scratch X ??

just pickup my blue Edge today, I have the push button start. Do I have to keep the car running to try out the electronics or some how I can set it on accessory like the way with key. Thanks ..

Hi, I just pickup my blue Edge today, I noticed some hair line scratch on the paint. what is the best product to use for that ? I saw some Meguiar's scratch X2.0 or Scratch Doctor in Walmart, are they any good ? Thanks ..

Oh, in Canada, they only offer Sport in AWD and in the 2011 Edge brochure all pics have the air dam !!!!
