Does anyone know if there is an update for the POI icons on the Navi map? The only gas stations Icons that show on my screen are Shell and BP thats it.. Also on the fast food side Mcdonalds and Wendys show up thats it.. Is it the area we are in or does it have to do with a map update or the chains displaying their Logos on the map? Also I see in my center console there are AV inputs.. Can I hook up a DVD player or Iphone to them and watch a Movie on my Navi Screen ? Thanks for any replies.! 2011 Edge Limited

Well, Im happy to report back here.. Picked up my Limited last night from my Ford dealer.. and MY SYNC is NOW perfect. I have the Gen 2 update installed, ALL my colors are CORRECT like they should be ( 4 corners are Ford Now, Ambient light orbs are ALL correct colors and NOT switched around and I have a FORD logo for my Default Wallpaper ) ALL Sync Funtions are FINE , Backup Camera, climate controls, blue tooth, volume on steering wheel is all good seems like the LEAD tech at the dealer got it right, after I called FORD Cust Service and made a report and the nice guy at ford gave me his number called the dealer several times and was on point! Also Mike from this forum is wonderful! He contacted me and emailed me the fix in case I got to the dealer last night and I still had the Lincoln issue and colors , But I didnt need his USB trick! But I had it as AMMO ... He is GREAT if your dealer cant get your graphics back to ford colors and logo HE WILL! THis forum ROCKS and all you guys are GREAT! AND A BIG THANK YOU TO MIKE FROM SYNC! The ONLY guy who new what was going with the Color and logo issue.. And YES you need to go to Owner to Owner Group to contact Mike.. Sent a message on the owner to owner wed night Thrus AM I had an email and in 2 hours had the fix file! Mike is GREAT!

hey Curly .. I see u been posting alot in these forums and have the same issues as me.. How did you get a hold of the fix and Mike? Did you too have the Lincoln logo as the default wallpaper? My 2 colors are switched around and the colors in the 8" screen are not correct either, I see that Mike sent you the fix Can you point me in the right direction ? Thanks!!!!

How do you get a hold of this sync guy Mike? I really would love my colors to work and my 4 colors on my 8" screen to be correct again! Please let me know guys! I went to that link you posted and I cant seem to understand how to contact this guy! Can you guys send me the fix via email? Thanks!!!

Did you get the FORD logo Back after the USB Download?

I did the Gen 2 update, and like many other people my ambient colors are off, the 4 quandrant colors are differnt now ( dont match the 4" display like they used to ) and I have a Lincoln Logo now as my default wallpaper! My question is HAS ANYONE out there have the same issues and had them CORRECTED by the dealer? I only read a handul people had this issue and I wanted to see if ANYONE that HAD this issued had it corected? Is this an isolated issue or wondering did this happen to ALL the 2011 with the Gen 2 update! Im going back to the dealer tonight to drop it back off .. if anyone can reply to this today I would appreciate it so I have some AMMO to give to the dealer tonight! Thanks in advance!

Do you now have a Lincoln Logo for yoru default wallpaper? Are your ambient colors switched around and show a GREY Color now?

Well today I brought my 2011 Edge in for a oil change and the service advisor said there was a sync update.. Now I get home and I have a LINCOLN logo on my screen instead of the blue oval, and I also noticed that the ambient lighting is all messed up with colors not matching the screen and a GREY COLOR that was NEVER there .. Anyone else have this issue? The dealer is ONLY a Ford dealer so I dont know how this could of happened.. I guess Ill call themm in the AM... But I wanted to know if this happend to anyone else.. I went to change the wallpaper and the default is LINCOLN only Blue Oval FOrd is GONZO.. Can you download that wallpaper anywhere.. Just curious..

Thanks Guys for the comments! I choose the Limited cause I couldnt do with out the HID's the LED running lights with the Sport looks like crap! WHITE LEDs and Yellow headlamps! NO WAY! Plus I wasnt paying 1600 for ford HID's ! Plus NO trailer Tow package and no homelink! Plus the Black int is much richer ALL BLACK instead of the Silver middle of the seat! Just my Opinion! Plus this engine seems to be peppy enough.. Now the dealership! My Cousin is the Sales Manager at Buhler Ford in NJ.. so if anyone needs a Edge his name is Paul ! I special ordered my Limited and it came in exactly 5 weeks to the Day! Thankls for looking at my pics! Love the EDGE!!!

Have it ONE week and SO FAR SO GOOD! Lovin It... Loaded with EVERY OPTION u could get.. Love the Lighted Door Sills..
