Got my car back last week and it works! It actually works! Actually, I take that back. Everything but the usb port works. I can stream bluetooth audio. I can plug in my ipod via av/in. Navigation is working. Sync is working faster and better than ever. Some features that I didn't even know weren't working (the tag feature) are back on track. The only thing I can't figure out is how to watch video. I plug in my iphone and try to watch youtube videos via the av/in and can't seem to get it to work..even in park. Anyone know anything about that? Thanks!

Just picked up my car from the dealer. They were unsuccessful with the update. It kept crashing. I have to bring it in next week. More things are NOT working from when I dropped it off. No heat. No music. No phone. I am at the end of my rope. I'm tempted to tie a noose in it and slip it over my head! (Obvious exaggeration.) But seriously, this is ridiculous, I'm thinking I might start looking for new cars and talking to a lawyer about the lemon law. But I don't even want a new car! I want my Lincoln MKX!

My dealership is also having issues downloading the update. So obviously not just a problem at one dealership. Also, I don't understand why some people are being nasty to pinkedge. If she's having issues--she's having issues! Why are you taking it personally? Did you make the car??

Here is the latest I got from the dealership: Hi again- we've tried 4 times so far today to download the sync info- if we can -can we keep the car again overnight and we will continue trying to download the info for the my touch?

My car is in the shop today because an update finally came in. Just got an e-mail from them saying: we are still working on programming your car, we have tried the download from the ford/microsoft server 5 times today and each time the server has crashed mid download- we contacted them and they are having major IT problems and hope to have it resolved by mid day tommorrow-. Hopefully, it ends up working. They've been great to get me a free rental car every time.

My car has been in the shop 3 times now. They don't know what is wrong with it. So, that's awesome. Navigation still reads fault. The usb card isn't being detected. The blue tooth audio stream isn't working. Super frustrated. The dealer says there aren't any updates yet--so I don't know if it is a software issue or if it is the unit itself. Sure would be nice to have some answers.

I've had the scroll problem and the previous place pic. My car is in the shop as we speak--I'll let you know if they figure it out!

I took possession of my 2011 MKX last Saturday and have had some issues. My navigation and ipod hook up weren't working due to it still being in transportation mode. That part is fixed but I am still having sporadic issues. The usb is saying it isn't plugged in sometimes when it is...and navigation fault is popping up frequently as well. Super frustrating this early in the game. Anyone else having issues or does your system work perfectly? I'm hoping there is something wrong with the unit itself and getting it replaced will fix the issue. TIA!

Thanks! I ended up getting the pearly white--white the tan interior/gray piping. All of the buttons/tech take some getting used to. But it's just like a new phone--gotta play around with it and then it is second nature!

Thanks for the info! I feel like it might be more than the card unfortunately, since the ipod hook up wouldn't work either.
