  1. I use Turtle Wax Ice on the black trim everywhere...It is excellent!!!! When washing, I use one of those long handled brushes with the soft bristles, which cleans the bottom areas very well......

Ohhhh, you're talking about the trim on a car......I thought you were down in the District (that's what us locals call Washington) looking for women......well, Turtle Wax Ice is good for the car trim, too...doesn't leave any aftermarks or swirls, and won't fade the color at all....

  2. I would say it's not normal....well, maybe it would be for one of those Chinese p.o.s. Cherys..but not for an Edge....I'm sooooo glad I stayed with the stock 17" painted wheels...I like the look, and no extraneous parts attached to the wheel....Make your concerns known to the dealer...do not accept "That is normal"...it isn't, and shouldn't be.

  3. One-- You should not accept that kind of paint job on the car....at this point, demand either a full refund, or a new car.

Two--If you paid $40,000 for an Edge, you got ripped off....a Lincoln MKX, yes...an Edge, no.

Three--This goes back to number one....do not keep this car....no one, not even the old fart from Feenix AZ should have to accept a brand new vehicle with a sh*tty paint job...contact you local T.V. consumer advocate reporter....one thing a dealer hates is lots of negative publicity on the local news....If you have to, throw up a picket in front of the dealership, with a sign that says they sell lemons, don't buy here, they aren't consumer friendly, etc. Bring the war to the media...that's one of the ways we got out of Viet Nam.....

  4. w......they better be able to put it the sync like they said they could when it comes out, if they cant i should get something from them since i have it in writing lol

I don't understand why you people are always looking to "get something'' if things aren't the way you think they should be.....sort of like stamping your feet, and holding your breath until you turn blue, isn't it??

  5. Sounds like the dealer stuck you with a lemon...there is no excuse for it at all...it is people like that that give Ford a bad name....go in and give them hell....there are far worse things to stress over other than a hunk of metal, plastic and rubber...you DON'T have to go to the dealership you bought the car from...any Ford, Lincoln or Mercury dealership will honor any warranty work (at least, they are supposed to........)
