I purchased a new 2011 Ford Edge limited (AWD) with sync and I want DRL's enabled. The dealer connected the IDS programmer tool to reprogram the SJB. He went to the exterior light section to enable DRL's. There was NO option for DRL's. The dealer said they needed more time to find the problem. They also said some module was missing and they needed to check on it.
I returned the Edge to the dealer today so they could find out why there was no DRL's option. I received a call later today and was told that DRL's was a feature and I didn't have it on the car. The dealer then said DRL's wasn't an option for me on my car. I am willing to pay for the DRL's feature. Does this mean that no 2011 Edge in the US can have DRL's? Is there anything I can do?
