I will, October 15th order, still no VIN (should be this week), delivery in March. Not a very happy camper.

It depends on your dealer VIN allocation, If you are based within the US, I'm sure you'll get your VIN soon.

Great News! it should be round 4 to 6 weeks but your dealer could give you an ETA with the VIN. Is it a SEL or LImited. Are you based in the US? Here in Canada, it seems we have no VIN allocation.

Still no VIN despite calls to the dealer general manager and many calls to customer service. Heading to end of january for <maybe< a VIN and march delivery (5 months wait!).IM running out of ideas to make things moving

Virtually all dealer in the Montreal area have only 1 or 2 Edge 2011 if not zero. Did you actually resold your Sport that day? Dealer keeps telling me that there is no prioritization which I doubt. I was able to get a copy of my order and my name appears on it. Very tuff to get an answer as when it will be delivered especially when you have no VIN.

Ordered my SEL 2011 FWD on October 20th 2010, still no VIN (not scheduled). From Ford Customer Relation center, nexxt production bacth of Edge/MKX is scheduled to start week of January 24th. I hope to get in this batch.

I have ordered my Edge 2011 SEL on Oct 15th, still no VIN even after many call to Ford Customer service and dealership, and I have no outlook as when this would come out.

I ordered my SEL 2011 on Oct 15 and still no VIN even going up the food chain. Virtually no VIN allocation in the Montreal area. Nobody in the area has even SEL in their yard.

Friday, my dealer was allocated 2 Edge SE which has 17" wheels. I have ordered a SEL whith the standard 18" wheel. Everything make sense but Im so eager to drive this 2011 Edge. Not that I don<t like my current Edge 2008 but all the new 2011 stuff made me change my mind. Thanks for the input

Hi Anyone has the same issue as I have? I have order my Edge SEL mid-october and still no VIN issued. Apparentlly they have a wheel supplier issue. Does that make sense?

True for me too until Ford Canada repost it on their web site as dealer installed but included into the MSRP. I advised the dealer who modify my order so the DVD are inside the car when it comes in but installed by the dealer.
