Hankook tires are ok tires. By far not the best tires out there. They make an excelent low profile tire as does continental. However it seems that all of their testing expenses go into the low profile tires. As a person who works on Ford's I have to say I don't know what the h#$l Ford was thinking going to these tires. The conti's in my opinion are worse then the hankooks but thats not saying much eather. I have seen blow outs with 4000 miles where the tire just came apart. And were not talking about sudden loss of pressure either. Plus when ford came out with the newer f150, a good portion of them came with hankook tires. The issues were many, and many sets of tires were replaced due to vibration issues. For the most part, once these tires are gone, you will never see a set of conti's or hankooks on my edge. Plus I only have about 15000 miles and my hankook tires are already warn to 4/32nds of tread

I have been driving ours for about two weeks. Gone thru 2 tanks of gas. Averaging about 17.3 mpg

They have really cracked down on the x-plan pins. You cant just give a pin to anyone. You almost have to prove that they are related to you and if for some reason it does get by and ford finds out the dealer can be charged back the savings they gave to you.

Some times you just have to realize that these vehicles are new and not many have come thru the service department. The problems are all new and no one knows where to go. You can always learn more going to the internet. However that info is not alway available to the tech. They have access to the ford web site for common problems reported to ford, however for them to post something it has to happen to more than one person. Give it time and all problems will be solved.

I believe I read that magnaflow was coming out with a complete cat back system. I think I will wait for that.

What exhaust did you go with???

I live here in Scottsdale. I have not yet had to have my vehicle in for service do to that fact that i just got it on Saturday. Although I love my Edge, or shoud I say my wife's edge. :hyper:
