  1. Same prob here. Also, when door is successfully closed it sometimes becomes "ajar" on its own, causing my alarm to go off! Very annoying. Off to the stealership!
  2. I know its been asked before....however the responses have been somewhat inconclusive. I would love to hear from earlier model year owners of chrome clad wheels about how they held up through salty winters....? i have a 2011 and this will be the first winter....its a lease so im on the fence as to whether i should swap them out for winter rims.....would rather not due to cost but by the same token, i would not want to have to spend at lease end to replace my corroded/destroyed chrome clad cheap-ass ford wheels...
  3. if you are talking about a wheel in the traditional sense-aluminum.....try Collision Networks Inc. 140 Doughton Rd. Concord, ontario. 905-669-1665. i brought in a curb rashed rim a couple of years ago off a infinity g35 and they fixed it up like new....cost approx. $200. Gentleman i dealt with was Steve (i believe he and his brother run the business)
  4. thanks everyone....turns out i REALLY have to slam it!....just wasnt used to have to apply such force to close a hood before... cheers,
  5. Hi everyone new to forum and new to ford. just picked up a 2011 sel a few weeks ago.... ive always regarded domestic in a negative light...but after hearing a lot of good things about ford (and other domestics) lateley i thought i would give it a shot...and have been impressed so far... However, this morning i had to access the battery in order to give a boost to my other vehicle and i could not get the hood shut! no matter what i tried it just wont close. it only catches on the safety catch (the position it is in when you pop the hood from inside the car). Anyone else experience this? am i missing something (a trick to it)?? much appreciated!
