I filled up my '07 Edge today after my "low fuel" light came on. I filled up with 15.25 gallons. Wondering what exactly the fuel capacity of the car was, I glanced at the window sticker that I have in my information pack. The sticker says that I have a 19 gallon fuel tank. Is this correct? If so, why is my "fuel level low" light coming on after going through 15 gallons?

Two days ago I was accelerating from a stop- had to ease off the gas due to a slower car in front of me. I then got back into the gas and the transmission went into gear so hard and so loudly that I immediately looked in my rear view mirror to see what car had hit me- it was that violent. It hasn't happened since then, but I took it in and got the "cannot duplicate" response from my dealer.

Jeeze, is there any vehicle that doesn't have a forum?

Yeah it is a nice color for sure.

I should add that I also wish that the six speed box had gear selection with buttons or paddles or whatever. It would be nice to be able to select gears semi-manually as the tranny and it's shifts are so good.

Jeeze- obviously "spelling" should go under my dislikes (trannsmission) I shouldn't say that I don't like FWD- I like it with a manual transmission because you can still induce a bit of oversteer with throttle lift. In an automatic car, all the throttle can really do is introduce under steer (especially without a LSD). I loved the Mazdaspeed 3 with LSD- it was a hoot. I'm obviously not going to be tracking my Edge, so it's a minor gripe. I liked my Explorers RWD and was used to it I guess.
