  1. I ended up using a 2.5 ft pry bar from under the vehicle to move the pulley, the whole job took about an hour to remove right tire & pull back splash guard. I only did the serpentine belt, also cut the old belt off.
  2. My issue was a loose ABS sensor touching the control arm! After securing the sensor the problem went away, cost me $0.
  3. Get a digital voltmeter & ohm out the 2 rear sensors, since their the easiest to get to. What ever the readings are, that's the value, unless its open then you found a bad one. imho
  4. I had this same issue and after some research I ended up removing each tire, one at a time to inspect & clean speed sensor. Also disconnect & clean rear connector at the double connect point. I found a clamp that had come detached at the R front speed sensor allowing it to touch the control arm. After re securing the clamp the warning lights went out after a couple days. My theory is that since the ABS is an inductive circuit, the ABS cable touching & bouncing off the control arm was inducing an intermittent false signal. Hence the intermittent warning light, I figured I saved $$$ by not taking it to a dealer. Thanks to the Forum for troubleshooting this and other issues!
  5. I recently also had the wrench, ABS & trac cont light come on. A scan shows c1175, c1236, D1464, p1650, p1703, p1780. Can they all be related or should I take it into the dealer? The only obvious issue was the ABS kicked in when braking on dry asfault. Any thoughts?
  6. I just paid the price dearly for this. My Edge has 61k miles & started to make a growling noise from the rear end, turns out it was because the front tires had a 1" diameter difference causing strain on the rear end. They had to replace the entire rear end, the dealer said it wasn't covered under warrenty because of the tire isue. It ended uo costing me $3300!
  7. You can ask the folks at jewellet.com, I really don't know.
  8. Thanks for the advice, this is what I ended up putting in. Awesome plug & play unit. http://www.jewellet.com/Ford-Edge-DVD-Player/Ford-Edge-Navigation-System
  9. Here's the eBay link for the Running boards, you can shop around for the mud flaps. There are a few different styles to choose from & prices; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STAINLESS-STEEL-RUNNING-BOARDS-NERF-SIDE-STEP-BARS-L-R-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZalgoQ3dLVIQ26ituQ3dUCIQ26otnQ3d4Q26poQ3dLVIQ26psQ3d63Q26clkidQ3d8618937010866405523QQ_trksidZp5197Q2em7QQitemZ290532110576
  10. I put on splash guards & running boards on my '07, I think it looks good.
  11. How does one remove the radio trim bezel? I want to replace a OEM radio with a navigation unit and not mess up the trim, where are the attach clips or screws? Thanks in advance.
  12. You can take the cover off the stacker and look for a unlodged/ misaligned disk. I fixed mine that way, good luck!
