Agreed. I'm a member of MANY automotive forums and I've never seen one that big. Totally un-necessary IMO. At least it's not as annoying as the ones on Kawiforums - damn clickable Adsense words...

Thanks - we'll give it a shot! I appreciate the advice. In my opinion, I ASSuMEd that the braking performance faults were a result of caliper/brake booster combo, maybe the lines themselves. I'm game for a booster swap, stainless steel lines, etc. I have the lifetime ceramics on another car of mine and found them "adequate". This is my girlfriend's car, so I'm looking mainly for safety, not performance, and also for something that we won't have to worry about very often. I'll take my time and do the research, then post a how-to/results.

I just bought a gorgeous red (whatever that deep red color is) FWD SEL with Tan leather, SYNC, heated seats and I'm not sure what other packages. Only 34,XXX miles and in good shape, except needing front brakes. The car is for my girlfriend, but I'm in charge of keeping it running better than factory and setting up all the SYNC widgets. I'm a wrench-turner by nature so this thing will not be stock for long! Couple questions (before I search the forum, which I will do): 1) Sync works great for calls on her BB (older Curve I think), but I couldn't get Pandora to play through the car when the stereo was set to Sync Line In? I did switch the option to "Bluetooth headset" and the audio on the phone did go mute. Hmmm... I'll play with it with my Droid X shortly. 2) Came with 3 keys, and at least 2 of them are dead. Once I crack them open and replace the battery I'm hoping I won't need a trip to the dealer to get them paired. Will search on this. 3) Needs front brakes. I know that brakes were an issue with these vehicles (insufficient compared to others in the class), so before just turning the rotors and getting Autozone lifetime pads I'll be looking for any brake upgrade mods...
