Well that is a good thing! I trusted my tint shop oh well I'll deal with it although I would love to have it tinted!

Thanks, I was looking at them for my Fog lights. I have the night vision kit from RS for my headlights and its awesome have the 6K because I wanted a lil blue. I also had a hell of a time getting my lights into the housings and I have an 08. With some persistence I finally got em in. Something must be off on the bulbs or the housings are that much of a pain....

Looking at upgrading my fog lights to a HID light. I have a 2008 MKX with 6K hids as headlights, what color should I go with? I was thinking either 3k (yellow) or match the headlights at 6k, or even go to 5K. I am not sure. I looked at pictures but couldn't find many for the Edge or MKX. Thanks.

Black but I just need the actual number part if it comes apart I am not sure. Ones on ebay are for newer cars, I am not sure what year my can cross reference too.

Tinted the panoramic roof glass? I was told I couldn't because it is tempered glass and if it gets too hot will explode?? My interior does get hot and I have all my windows tinted including the windshield. I am South Florida though, cars get hot but mine is at least 5-10 degrees hotter if not more.

I installed a set of 6K ones from retro solutions, Night vision 35 watt ones and they are bright! Glad you got it sorted out though. I believe they were 9006s and I also had a hell of a time getting them in. I didn't dremel but with some time I got them in and never want to take them out!! Rusty you want to unload some of your ballast/lights??? PM me! I need to do my fogs.

My numbers are worn off where can I get a new keypad or whole assembly? I already tried ebay. Its an 08, thanks.

I got a response from Febreeze (P&G) they are sending a damage packet out that I have to fill out, provide two estimates, take 12 pictures (printed not digital) and some other things and send it all back. Then they "might" cover the damage. I will go along with it and see what happens. I just want it fixed! Luckily I don't drive the car much only like 5500 miles a year! lol.

Thanks guys. I found a website with ford/lincoln interior colors and the color is medium satin nickel. Found on another forum guy updated his LS interior to the silver color in mine and used a satin nickel spray paint. I am going to test it on another piece of trim and then pull the piece out on the navigation unit, sand, primer and paint. Now gotta figure out the cup holder since that's is going to be a pain to paint. And for Febreeze well I am not going to purchase their products anymore, but still going to file a complaint.

I had one of those oil Febreeze air fresheners in my car clipped to my vent. It leaked and ate the silver paint on the navigation screen and then my cupholder. I am annoyed because my interior is very clean and now it ruined!!! What paint color is the silver paint on the MKX? Here are some pics of the damage. A little search on the internet and it seems ppl. have had this problem and Febreeze doesn't care that its products ruin interiors of customer cars.

No way to tell from the pic but fit it and then remove the plastic license plate bracket and mount the plate in the middle another way, no biggie.

Hey guys sorry been busy to answer questions: the64game-I believe its Tux Black, and I just tapped around the chrome. Only part I removed to plasti-dip was the passenger door handle cover (prob should of pulled all of em since they will be touched alot) its holding so far. Wannabang-Windshield is tinted a very light tint, I wanna say its like 50 or 35. I have HIDs so I can see good at night. Only issue is when I go to the drive in theater makes the screen a little hard to see. KC300C-thanks for the compliments and the idea to do the chrome strip! I also took the car through the power wash and it came out all good. Very happy with the paint!

Thanks for the positive comments! I also like the front and will leave the headlights the way they are. I am thinking now of either tinting the tail-lights or covering the chrome up, I will have to play and see. Emblem on rear I will have to play with that too. I kind of covered them all up because I wanted ppl to be like what the.... was that??

Brow meaning the windshield strip? My whole windshield is tinted lol.

Thanks yeah I didn't want to paint/tint them or take them apart, although I was thinking of dipping the chrome on the middle led light in the back. Might try it.

I took my 2008 Lincoln MKX Limted Edition and blacked out all the chrome, badges and wheels. Alot of work but I liked the way it turned out. First I will give you a before pic and then the after. (after pics it was raining) Let me know what you guys think!

Advance auto rotors and Akebono pads on the front, stops like a car. I was going to do the SS lines but I can't really imagine it getting much better then now, and I had baer brakes on one of my previous cars.
