  1. http://hooniverse.com/2013/08/16/braking-news-ate-super-blue-deemed-illegal-for-us-distribution/

My personal favorite brand of brake pads is Performance Friction (carbon metallic), but they do not have an application for the Edge. Have not had good luck with the HPS in the past, but will give them a go again.

StopTech does make the SS lines for the 07-10 Edge also, looking to see who might make the 11 & up lines. Yours custom at a brake shop, or DIY? Goodrich part # 13098 for 07-10, 13099 for 11 & up, per autoanything.com.

Even though visibility is pretty good with the Edge, I often am at busy intersections with no signals and curving roads. Would like to have confirmation before I get into traffic.

Theres a ton of blue on eBay for twenty bucks each. I made them myself, but at a hydraulic line shop. Need pics?

Impressive list, Dingo. Can you fill me in on where you got your Billet Oil Cap?

It was a leftover from another car. www.mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=SD107+01

  2. The Mobileye isn't a camera that you can see the image from. You only get a number/icon display.

The EBC pads eat rotors. The hawks are a good balance.

"Illegal?" Since when and why? Oh, and the Ate Typ200 is the same stuff, but not blue.

Nobody makes stainless lines for mine, so I made them.

  3. I started thinking about how much money I've put into my Edge, and got curious. Please post your mod lists here, and try to be as complete as possible. I'll go first, and I'm sure I've left some stuff out. I intentionally omitted cleaning/detailing/protective products and little dumb stuff like cell phone holders, chargers, trash bags, etc... I'll update the list as I think of more.

  4. Mine just started stalling out one day. It would die, followed by the wrench, and was still running, but barely, and quite rough. When I'd shut it down and restart it, it purred like a kitten, and then I could drive another 60-300 feet and it would do it again. In the 3 miles home, it stopped 16 times. I pulled the codes and had a P2111 and a P2112. I called the dealer and offered to remove the TB, take it there, and swap it out, but they said that warranty would only cover it if they swapped it. I had Ford roadside assistance tow it there, it was swapped, and I was out of there. Less than 2 hours from initial malfunction to back in my driveway, including the tow.
