The Ford Tech has looked at my car 3 times and keeps saying there is nothing wrong with the car. Even when they captured a code on the computer. I will call that number Monday first thing. Personal opinion Ford does not want to deal with this issue and will make any excuse not to acknowledge it.

Yes Yes Yes..... I have had the same issues for months. 2011 Ford Edge Limited... It has happened to my Husband, my Daughter, my Son and Myself.. Ford Dealership has been wonderful but Ford Has Been TERRIBLE>>>>>> AND don't tell me that it can't happen. Mine also puts on the brakes when it wants to.... Have witness's in the car when all these things have happened and FORD STILL WON"T ADMIT IT Almost had an accident a few weeks back when neither of my feet were on either the brake or the gas It took off in slow traffice.... Just took OFF and Ford still says it can't happen........ Even when the computer they had in my car said it did it... They have an excuse for everything. The My Touch System has had major issues also. Right now it's at the dealership and we are trying to figure out what to do with it...............

I have had so many issues it's hard to remember them all. Bought mine in January 2011 1. Stopped talking 2. Screen going blank 3. Screen working but no radio. 4. Back up camera working on and off 5. Ambient lighting changing but that's the least of my worry's 6. Accelerating and Braking on it's own 7.Nav telling me constantly I'm off route when the map is showing me right where it's telling me to go 8. At least 3 times a day it wants to do a health report but when I push ok it's says it can't 9. Drivers side power seat stopped working 10. I gave up on syncing to my phone. Been in and out of the shop at least 9 times now. It's back in the shop now since Thurs. LOL been a very loyal Ford customer for over 30 years... But this is going a bit to far

2011 Edge Limited... Purchased it in January 2011 In June it started accelerating on it's own, always happens at lower speeds. May do it twice in one week and then not do it for 3 weeks. It has accelerated up to 45 mph all by itself, even going up hills. The last time it did this in very slow traffic, my foot wasn't on the pedal and it almost hit the car in front of me.. I have taken it into the dealership like 8 different times now. The dealership has been wonderful and I really think they are trying hard to figure it out. They have installed an on board computer so that when it happens I can push a button and it's suppose to record the findings. We've done this 3 different times and found nothing..... I have the computer in there yet again. They have replaced the Throttle Body once. I think they said they have replaced some of the computers on the car. I have also had problems with the radio not coming on at all for as long as 2 days at a time. I think they have that fixed. I have had issues with the screen not coming on at all. My drivers memory seats not working Seat belts locking in place. Not talking to me when it should. I think they have that one fixed also. I love this car, but I'm starting to get frustrated with the acceleration issues. I'm afraid to allow my daughter to drive it because it happened to her one day with me in the car and scared her pretty good. Has anyone else had anything like this happen???????? I need help !!!!!!!!!

Bought my 2011 Limited Edge in January and it started accelerating on it's own in June. Always happens at low speeds. It has been in and out of the shop like 8 times and they have put the computer in the car 3 times for me to push the button when it happens. But it never tells them anything... They have replaced the Throttle Body once... Getting a little frustrated with this and it's starting to make me nervous. The last time it surged forward it almost caused an accident. Anyone else had any issues like this??????
