  1. I'm running the older brother to the D7000, the D90. I've had it for a few years and love it. Photoshop, Photomatix, Topaz and Lightroom are a must IMO. Here are a few of mine taken over the years...
  2. A simple thing that I would like myself... And have it resort to the USB every time you turn the car on...no matter what you left it on when it was turned off. ___________________ I'd like to see cooled seats...but for the few times I'll drive it in the summer, I'm not overly concerned. As for the heated seats, I'd rather see the '5 dial' settings they have in the focus, rather than the Non-existant 1 setting, and the burn your arse 2 setting we have.
  3. Having the V6...I cannot fully answer your question...but coming from a Liberty myself, I can tell you that the V6 mileage is only marginally better all around. I was averaging 18MPG in mixed driving with the KJ, but I'm only hitting upper 18's to 19 in the Edge. It's pretty far off from the 21-25 that it had listed on the window sticker. I would assume a similar drop in numbers for the Eco model. Good luck with your decision.

And some folks were thinking the HP wars were over... :nonono: Looks like it's alive and going strong to me.
  5. It's a ton of money for some plastic...that's for sure. <_<
  6. They seemed to be a hit or miss...especially in 2006. I had one stint where it spent 28 days in the shop straight. The car was overboosting at 25psi, causing a hard fuel shutoff that was equivalent to a hard acceleration followed by hitting a brick wall. Much harder than that of a a rev limiter. They flew a specialist in to look at it, turned out to be an issue with the waste gate getting corroded wide open. Along with issues where the car would not boost at all on occasion (until the car was shut off and back on), an AWD system that clunked under moderate acceleration, and electronic glitches out the wazoo...I felt it was time to let it go. My 335xi was the replacement for this one though.
  7. Tight it was, but it was in lines with that of a 3 series or A4 at the time. I thought it was more important that it held my golf clubs
  8. Yep...Contour's where great cars that had unbelievable handling. Too bad the American public thought they where just face lifted Tempo's.
  9. Here's the summer ride... End the every day ride...currently pushing ~400hp/420ft/lb Here's what I just traded in for the Edge.
  10. Hello all... My name is Joey and my wife and I recently decided to get a new winter beater...choosing the Ford Edge. Been a while since I've owned a Ford, but I've always had great luck with them in the past (discounting a crappy Ford owned MazdaSpeed6). Most recently was a 2000 SVT Contour, which to date has been one of my most favorite rides. This is the first automatic that my wife and I have ever owned...so it takes some getting used to. And unfortunately, my wife has already had some issues with Sync and the navigation locking up on her and some functions with her Windows Mobile phone (HTC) not working (odd, you would think the left and right hands of Microsoft would talk to each other) Needless, small news, as I'm hoping an update from v1.8 will help. Here's some pics of the whip (not that yinz haven't seen an Edge before)...basically has everything with the exception of the 20" hub caps (I would rather have 18's in the snow). I look forward to some healthy conversations in the future. Happy motoring :-)
