Yeah, d/l and installed mine the other day. Does seem snappier and no problems so far, but don't like some of the changes on the home screen. Really wish it still showed the temperature like it used to in the climate area, and not showing the song title in the entertainment area is annoying too. Oh, well...if it doesn't freeze up anymore I suppose those are minor things I'll get used to...

I was seeing in the low 40's today with no a/c, flat road, and cruise set at 60. Averaged about 35 for the highway part of the trip. Have about 3500 miles on it so far. Haven't been super impressed so far, but today was a nice surprise. Hopefully it keeps getting better on average.

I have the OEM in the Edge, but installed an Echomaster camera and rear-view mirror replacement in my Fusion. Have been very happy with both.

Why....

It's not that bad. We've had ours for about 2 months and I've had to "reboot" it once. Other than that it works pretty good but does have a few "quirks" like not responding to button presses right away sometimes. I have faith that the new version will fix a lot of these problems, though. Ford has a lot riding on this software and a lot of cars it's in or going into. I don't think they're going to make the same mistake twice and that's why we haven't seen the new version yet...

We got the ford accessory that came with two new keys with RS buttons on them. Therefore, when it was done, we ended up with four keys that will all work (although only two can remote start the car because the two that came with the car didn't have that button). (Our Edge has the standard turn-key ignition, 2012 SEL)
