It wasn't a topic, it was mentioned in a topic for something else, wish I could remember which one it was. I didn't even think of that, maybe thats what it is. I hope not though, I wouldn't want to risk messing with wires and having other problems just for that. lol

Hi all, I seen someone mention on here something about there being a way to do something with the wiring to get the keypad lighting to match the interior lighting. First off, by keypad, what EXACTLY is that? The keypad on the steering wheel? Or the center console buttons lighting? Second, what has to be done? I don't want to go to a place around me and say "this is what I want figure it out" and have them screw something up. So I figured I'd have better luck finding out exactly what it is that has to be done, telling them, then seeing if they know exactly how to do it. I sent a message to the person who briefly mentioned it (Dingo) but haven't gotten a response yet, so I was hoping to get an answer this way. Thanks ahead of time to anyone who can help

Thanks very much for the help. I agree, I am looking for the bright white look, nothing TOO bright and I don't want any blue in them. Okay for Wattage I put 35 Watt Bulb Color 5000K And waht for Bulb Type? I am also looking into changing my headlights, would the HID kit work the same on any headlights that fit into the Edges or should I wait until I change them to see what I need?

I maxed mine out at 120mph... I was upset to see it 20mph below the dash top speed =(

Okay... So... I have a very bad and annoying habit of ordering the wrong stuff... I do that a lot, unfortunately.... :bike: Does anyone know an exact link that I can order the HID kit from for my 2012 Edge Sport? My thoughts are that if someone has ordered them in the past or is good with the HID kits, they can show me exactly what to buy so that I don't order the wrong thing. Plus, this is the first car I've bought HID's for so I'm unsure as it is... Thanks ahead of time for any help given :kiss:

Found one! There is hope! PROBLEM though! I got this at Autozone... After calling the actual autozone hotline and asking if this fits the 2012 Ford Edge Sport, AND asking the people AT the Autozone the same question, both being told YES it does.... It does not fit the back emblem size... at all.... It MIGHT fit the front, but I don't want to take it out of the packaging without making sure they won't give me a problem returning it if it doesn't fit just because I opened it. I attached a video of what it looks like in person for anyone interested in getting one.... Please excuse the video being upside down.... And me not being able to find the button at first... :tease: lol My search does continue though... Not only do I need to first find out if this fits the front for sure, but I also want to know if I can take the lighting out from behind this emblem and put it behind any emblem and see if it has the same light up effect on the Ford font for when I change to my red/black emblem..... Or maybe just see if I can have this one painted... I dunno =( IMG_2901.MOV

Hmmm... I just got done redoing the exhaust system on my mustang... so I think I'll wait so that I can give my pockets time to regroup.... If I do it I'll most likely gut the cats out, that should give it a nicer sound too. Changing my exhaust to FM's would void my warranty though, right?

Ebay doesn't have it... I've searched long and hard. My friend has an F350 and his cousin has an F150 and I've seen the emblems, no way they would match, his rear emblem is like the size of our front emblems. And yeah, very cool idea. I seen one of those on the highway once on an F150 and fell in love with the idea, goes well with the red on my truck.

I've always been a big flowmaster fan, and I've been considering redoing the exhaust on my 12' sport..... Do you think FM's would work well??

I took my 95 Cobra to Mustang Magic out on Long Island (Look them up if you haven't heard of them) and it costed $500 for the chip retune and dyno's (obviously). He upped it 100horsepower and got the car running perfect (after switching it to a hurst shifter, things went a little weird) it was costly but 110% worth it... You should try something like that.

Well I wanted everything that is chrome, red. Ford & the circle around the outter part of the oval. And everything that is blue, black. I just called the Ford I bought my edge sport from and they told me they don't do that but they gave me the number to their body shop that they use around the corner, I actually just got off the phone with the guy a minute ago, he said with all the taping that would have to be done to paint it he doesn't think that it'll come out right.... Maybe they just don't want to do it? Or they don't think they can do it? I dunno.... I'll deffly post the finished product.

Honestly I would take it to Ford. I had to replace rims and tires on a S430 Lexus for my girlfriends dad and even the tire place (who I was going to order the new rims from, so they were about to make really good $$$) said that they don't even want to touch it and to take it to the dealer. So even though we're not dealing with a something like a Lexus, I would still take it to Ford to have them do the replacement because they would know best what to do. Also that is strange, I live in New York so there are pot holes all over, and I have a very heavy foot when it comes to driving, so I am always hitting pot holes at 40+ mph and nothing happened in my Edge Sport. Howdy all, I'm looking for different color front emblems. I love Ford and I am proud that I have one so I want to keep the original Ford OEM emblem but I want everything in chrome on the emblem changed to red, and everything in blue changed to black. I'd rather not do an overlay, but I will if the qu is good and as a last resort. Also a problem with that is finding an Edge sized emblem.... I've had no luck on eBay. Does anyone know a website that sells Edge sized multi color OEM Emblems?

Hi all, I've been looking for the rear light up emblem for a while... I've come across a few, like this one http://www.etrailer.com/Novelty/Reese/86094.html but that fits the F150 models... Does anyone know where I can find this for the Edge?
