And as much as I love Ford (and still own a Cobra), there is a big difference between a Ford engine and hardcrafted Mercedes engine. I've owned my Edge Sport for 3 years and my Mercedes for 4 months now and my Mercedes is noticeably faster than my Edge in Sport mode, let alone manual mode. My friend actually has a 2013 Edge Sport and for fun I asked him to do a run with me and in a length of 4 blocks, I beat him to the end by at least a full car length.

I look at it as two completely different things; because really they are. The Edge had a lot more of a mean, vicious look to it as the Mercedes has a much smooth, classier look. The reason I switched was because my extended warranty was coming up, tires were on their way out... Figured if I was going to make a change the time was now. The MPG difference is amazing. With the Benz I get 24 city/32 hwy. It has an i4 2.0 Liter engine but it also has an intercooled Turbo on their handcrafted engine which gives insanely surprising power. With the Edge I filled up once a week, a full tank on the Benz lasts me easily 2 weeks (if I keep it in Eco mode and don't mess around in sport or manual mode)

Yes. I haven't posted yet but I am going to be getting it going. Doing some home renovations mixed with my dad having some health problems so life is a little crazy right now but I'm getting to it!

Okay guys I dragged this out a bit longer because we only have five entries but Monday night is the last night. If we have a low entry then that is what it is. Don't wait for mods and stuff to enter, you might as well throw your hat in the ring with your Edge as is, can't hurt!

Ahoy maties! I started up an Instagram account for our beloved forum! If you have Instagram please follow FordEdgeForum and if you do, you will definitely get a follow back. I will be posting attractive pictures of our member's Edge's, random nice Edge's that I might see throughout the day, as well as just random finds on the internet that pertain to the Ford Edge. If you don't have Instagram, I suggest making one. I was against it big time when it first opened up, I haven't been interested in ANY social media website since Myspace, but Instagram seems to fun and lively. It is a simple app download on your smart phone and is a nice spot to upload pictures of random things, in our case, pictures of our cars! I feel Instagram is a good way for us to try and expand our community, generate interest and increase activity and interest even outside the forum website. We are starting up a hashtag, #FordEdgeForum so if you upload anything Edge/vehicle related we would really appreciate throwing the #FordEdgeForum hashtag up along with it and/or tagging us by using @FordEdgeForum. My hopes are that your followers with an Edge may see this, click the hashtag and see activity from you guys and see the activity on our actual Instagram itself and join us. So please help us out in this. Hope to see you guys on the IG!

Hello fellow Edgers! Exciting news! I am going to be hosting our forum’s first ever ‘Best Edge’ contest! This contest is going to be based on the appearance of your Edge and the winner will be chosen by YOU! As you can see there is a thread opened for the entry of this contest. So that everyone has time to gather their favorite pictures of their Edge and post them, this thread will be open for a week. In that section everyone will be able to post a maximum of 8 PICTURES in ONE post that you feel will present your Edge with the best possible chance to win. If more than 8 pictures are posted they will be removed. Please put all of your pictures in ONE post, do not post multiple times as any posts after will be deleted to prevent any confusion. The pictures section will be for posting your 1-8 pictures ONLY! Not for conversation, remarks or chatting. So please ONLY post pictures in this section, anything other than pictures else will be deleted to make the voting process easier; There is a Contest Conversation thread for discussion. On Monday, September 9th, the first round thread will be locked and the next round will begin. There will be two rounds to this contest. First there will be the aforementioned picture posting thread. Next Monday night, that thread will be closed and a new one will open with a voting poll; Round 1. This thread will have a list of everyone who posted pictures of their Edge in a poll for voting.
