  1. can someone please post and have some pics of all the interior an exterior lights that can be change with LED's with the part#, and web site you got it from. and if any difficulty occurred..... Thank You.

at the risk of sounding rude, everything you seek is in this thread. many times over

links to buy from, photos of bulbs, bulb sizes, install stories, etc etc

    just search or read through

  2. my only problem has been the fact that they raised rates, took away the FREE internet listening with your account and made that a pay service as well, and added that nice "US music royalty fee" :(

I am going from 3 subs to 1 in jan 2010

  3. Given that I was not able to find any loudest horn till now, I decided that instead, and given that our vehicle horns are just on the right side, why not installing another set on the left side, that will for sure double the loudness, but I may require a wire harness for that purpose, I do not want to be "creative"...does anybody knows the part number for the horn wire harness, to see if at least I could get the connectors...???

I second what securinu already said.. add another horn set, get ready to wire and add relay to do it right, not piggy back your existing wiring harness

but more interesting is that there is no guarentee "installing another set on the left side, that will for sure double the loudness" - on the contrary, this could have adverse effects unless you do your due diligence. unless you use a set that works with the tone/notes of your current horn, you could end up getting something taht when fired togther, sounds like a :censored: disaster. this is exactly why there are generally 2 horns of 2 different notes. if fired alone, they are weak, but when fired together, they work in tandem to create a range that works. you go arbitrarily adding a second set of horns and ughhh it could be a mess

you are a prime candidate for air horns, you want LOUD, and if your going to say you want the path of least resistance, but then talk about adding a second set of horns, and then about sourcing out relays and wire harness, etc... just get a darn air horn kit and get on down the road with it - you could have had air horns in by now and disconnected the stock horns and been blasting to your hearts desire

  4. is the update giving me something I did not have before or is it just an update to keep the version current,

it is not an "an update to keep the version current" it was release just to give you the 2 new functions you never had before: 911 and Heath Reports... you do not even 'need' this and it did not improve anything, but added those 2 features.

  5. and most importantly, they all have built in resistors (not load resistors for flashing).

correct me if I am wrong, but there are different resistor options that are useful..

what they sell have resistors, but according to them, that is to address polarity issues in case you install them wrong to polarity. that is nice, but as I see it.. no much of a big deal as youo just flip them around and viola.

resistor issues I see that are more valuable are those that smooth out load/curent variations - something that could fry a bulb - and they do not mention that and I think that is the more key issue to address for resistor son LED bulbs

lastly, I am not sure these 2 are the same or separate types of resistors.

  6. License plate: 194/168 x 2

Rear courtesy: ~39mm festoon (HOW MANY?? not my car, cant go out and check, is it 3?) x3

Front map/dome: 2825 or equivalent (how many?) x2

    see above

while your at it, do the cargo area bulb of course, also a festoon, x1, also 39mm - I did one that had 9 LEDs on it in square to really fill that bulb space and throw light

  7. WHEN I GOT MY EDGE I TAPPED OFF THE BACK, SANDED WITH 400 GRIT, AND ROOLED ON BLACK HERCULINER ! ! LOOKS SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

solid idea.. herculiner is pretty bomber and looks good. a pict would be nice. and you can diff colors of the stuff

  8. got mine, look and work perfect. got to thank the OP for bringing this up. I got mine for free as they should have come with it.

I will get better pictures than we have in the next day or so.

  9. of course I was joking

as for air horns.. the compressor, which comes with, is a piece of cake. self contained. if you do new horns, you would have to do horns, likely the relays, wiring and so adding the compressor is not much more.

I have the one in the upper left.. not on my edge mind you. inexpensive, easy to install and plenty of HONK

  10. get something like this and you can have musical horns, record your own, or have a PA to yell at people :)

anyway, I have replaced horns - as yes, there are 2 in your car, a high and low on opposite sides of the radiator area typically. I replaced on in my FJ40 for air horns... no missing them, but it has a Chevy 350 so loud engine to overcome.

tapping into your current horn relay/wiring is really the tricky part.

can't recall seeing anyone here yet do horn swap

  11. as an example... so many people have had "the burning smell issue" PTU seal - the #1 topic here (32 pages, 57000 views & imagine those that do not visit this site and just go to the dealer) and I wonder why this warranted a letter, first time I have ever heard of this heater core issue, and that major seal issue costing them - and owners - a ton of money to fix, did not?

seems if anything should get a letter and warranty extension, it should be because of the PTU seal issue.
