what size battery did you put in
cold cranking amps? I put whatever was factory sized and bought it from the dealer as even though it was a bit more than a similar battery at autozone or advance auto parts... I feel those batteries are pretty poor quality.

I never have had a battery go bad this quick. I bought another motorcraft one from the dealer.

Okay so as most or at least some have dealt with my wifes 2011 edge limited needed the battery replaced.
I am surprised and not upset but annoyed that a 2011 vehicle that is 3 years old has a bad battery already.
I spoke with the ford dealership here and they will sell you a factory replacement for $128 un-installed with 650 cold cranking amps and its the factory battery with a 3 year free replacement and like 80 month pro rated replacement.
So they will sell me a battery with a 3 year free replacement but don't offer any warranty or pro-ration on a factory ford battery?
seems backwards

Just replaced mine in my wifes 2011 edge and had no issues putting the new battery in and programming staying the same

it only happens when you open the door get in the car, push the push button start and the seat doesn't move forward on its own like normal.
you can manually move it though.
-
sounds kind of similar...but the memory works and i haven't noticed any issues like that part of it.
-
On my 2011 ford edge limited I have noticed lately that when I open the door and get it and put my foot on the brake and push the push button to start the seat will not move into its normal position.
I can use the power buttons on the side of the seat and it works fine.
We have only been driving the edge maybe once a week or so as my wife drives her 2013 edge limited full time and I have a company car.
Could this be a possible bad battery on the car and the seat having a hard time getting the juice it needs ?
I am guessing it is the original battery on the edge from when it was new in 2011 (which obviously isn't that old) and it has 71k miles on it.
Thanks in advance!

I am interested in the mats if you still have them

price?
-
Yep, its on cars.com and craigslist. I have had offers on craigslist... but like typcial lowballers it is generally 5k lower than even kbb private party value. I will keep it if thats the case, I don't owe any money on it etc. I have it on local car forums in my area too.
Tried carmax they were well below the craigslist offers too.
I had like zero people calling for weeks, then had 4 call in 2 days. Just hit and miss lately.
Reduced to $21,500 right now.
