1. Thanks but the textured lower cover looks like the regular edge and not the sport one.
 2. Can a mod please delete this thread but keep my other one? I don't know why I have 2 of the same threads. Thanks!!
 3. Does anyone else know where I can bet the lower bumper cover for cheaper? Maybe aftermarket? $1000 for the lower cover is crazy!
 4. Thank you for your post! I seen it earlier then it disappeared so that's why I replied! Thanks for the help.
 5. Nope I'm not double posting! I don't know how I have 2 post and 2 threads!
 6. Can someone tell me where to get a lower front bumper valance for my wife's 2010 Edge sport? I ran into a pile of snow and backed up a ripped part of the lower valence off. I tried looking but only seem to see the regular valence and not the sport valence.

 8. Great thanks cellbine!! I'll be doing the 5k!! Do they have a tiny bit of blue in them? Also did you use any coupon for free shipping or anything from DDM? I'm going to order 2 sets of HIDs in the next week or 2 but DDM wants $20 shipping and I was just seeing if there was a coupon or anything you might of used. .
 9. Ok thanks Kc! Do you have any pics or a video of the 5000k? I seen your video of the 6000k before and I'm just curious to see what the 5k looks like. I'm going to go with the DDM 5k does anyone know what build number I need for my headlights and fog lights for a 2010 Edge.
 10. Ok thanks! I was actually trying to PM you before to ask you how you about you DDM tuning HIDs but I dont have enough post to PM anyone yet. But anyway how do you like you HIDs from DDM and are you still running the 6K? If so how do you like the 6k? Last if you can post some pics also that would be great!!
 11. Ok great thanks! If you could get a few pics of the 6k and 5 k I would appreciate it!!
 12. Do you have the power lift gate and if so are they able to hook that up to the Viper alarm?
 13. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="RustyEdge" data-cid="90854" data-time="1358782973">
As soemone who just installed a HID kit, I wouldn't recommend the 6000k color either. Mine is an '11 with the projectors, but I'm not happy with the output and it is too blue for my liking. Not like the picures I saw online.

I just installed yeterday and have already ordered new 5000k bulbs! If that doesn't work I'm going to switch to DDM.

Do you have pics of you 6000k HIDs or could you post pics in here and did you do the 35w or 55w?
 14. Great thanks for the help! Yea I looked into the DTBL puddle lights but figured I would do it myself and save some money.
 15. Ok thanks everyone for all the responses! If I do go with 5000k in my headlights and fogs should I just stick with the 35w since I will be doing the fogs as well or will the 55w be ok in both?
 16. I'm looking to do some DDM tuning HIDs I'm my 2010 Edge Sport for the heads n fogs and have a few questions. I will be doing 6000k and was wondering should I do the 35w or 55w? Also what's the difference between the 2 besides the wattage and what watt is the standard HID? Next will I need a relay? I have HIDs I'm my 06 f150 and ended up needing a relay because of the auto on headlights.
 17. Ok thanks! What should I do put a bead of super glue around the lens and also a bead of silicone too and then put them back together? Also what did you use to cut around the lens and the housing in order to separate them to access the bulb?
 18. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="SoCalEdge2012" data-cid="89598" data-time="1356430070">

Sorry, haven't checked the boards for a while.

First, just a list of tools needed: Flathead screwdriver, super glue, need nose pliers, nail polish (if you have some), clamp, and some type of cutting device. Some use a dremmel, I used this saw since I happen to have it already http://www.michaels.com/Revell-Razor-Saw-Set-With-Fine-Blade/kd3597,default,pd.html?cgid=products-kidsteachers-models-tools&start=6

To remove from the mirror housing, stick the screwdriver in the small slot to depress the clip, then drop one end out, then the other.
Then unclip the wires...these were tough for me as mine had a "punch" in them so they would not come apart easily...
Once you have them out you can put nail polish along the edge where the clear lens meets the black housing.
Then, start cutting along this joint
puddle 2.JPG
Here is a pic of it after I'm done cutting, you can see the separation
puddle 1.JPG
Once you feel you are sufficiently cut all the way around, stick a flathead screwdriver in the cut and gently twist, to pry the lens apart. I felt like I was going to break mine, and got a little crack noise when I did this, but it needed it to completely separate.
When you have the lens out, use the pliers to pull the old bulb out.
For me I needed to spread the prongs a little to get the new LED to fit as shown below using the pliers
puddle 3.JPG
Then pop in the new LED
puddle 4.JPG

Before applying the lens, go out the the car, plug in, and TEST IT!

Now apply superglue to the lens, apply a good amount since you now kind of have a gap to fill, and clamp it for a good 15 minutes so it completely dries and you dont reinstall into the vehicle with wet glue.
Then plug it in, double check functionality, then pop the unit back in, and enjoy the pretty new light.

Sorry for the quick and dirty write up...wee morning hours of Christmas. Let me know if you have any questions.

Nice write up! I just ordered my LED bulbs and will be doing this when I get them! I have 2 questions. Why did you put the nail polish on before you started cutting and is super glue good to use to seal them back up or should I use silicone?
