From what ive seen, ambient lighting is not offered on a SEL. I live in the US
-
Where are you guys seeing a power liftgate being an option on the 2013 SEL?
-
I got a 2013 SEL AWD with only the appearance package and paid 33k after taxes and a $2500 down payment. I had a X-plan pin i got from work which was suppose to give me a discount but i dont see one. The X-plan price was actually higher then the invoice price. Think i got taken to the cleaners

It just is too midbass-y. Sounds weirdly hollow. My Boston sub was a direct fit.
What would u recommend then? A boston?
-
You won't be happy with the kicker. Just exchange it for something else.
Whats wrong with the kicker? I've never had a kicker product before. My last sub was a pioneer. I've looked at many 8" subs and none appear to have a diameter large enuf to be a direct swap
-
Is there any such thing as adapter rings to increase the diameter mounting of a sub? I bought a 8" kicker sub to replace the stocker in the stock box, but the mounting diameter is 1" smaller than the stock sub. I see adapter rings to increase the mounting depth, but nothing in regards to diameter

Then run the wire to the remote out in your HU, or the power wire of your HU, and just remember to turn your HU off every time.
Doesnt it already do that when i open the door?
-
Yeah, and I'm pretty sure the amps that are signal-sensing do, too. I would always prefer to run the wire. I don't trust frequencies too much. LOL
Nothing in the specs say anything about signal sensing

Some amps have a sensor built in to sense a radio signal and trigger the amp to turn on. Others do not. Those that don't need to "tap" the amps remote wire into the HU's remote wire.
..is that what you were wondering?
My amp has a spot to hook up a remote wire
-
I didn't tap anything.
Straight to the battery?

Here is a few pics of the Avery white carbon fiber wrap I installed. overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I still have to cover a few door pieces and the two dash trim pieces on the sides of the gauge cluster. I'm also wanting to cover over the silver plastic on the steering wheel. I seen on this forum the instruction on how to remove it, but messing with the airbag kind of sketches me out. Has anybody successfully removed the steering wheel trim? Any suggestions? Thanks.
Is that a fabric or like a 3m peel n stick? How did you go about doing the curves and keeping it smooth?
-
No.
Where did you tap? I was thinking HU power wire becuz I sometimes sit and listen to radio after I turn the car off
-
How do you remove these? Are they bolt on? Clip on? Stick on?
-
Must be a dull chrome. Looks more like a gray
-
I also got mine from dmb.uk
Pretty cheap and looks good
- it is just an overlay and not a whole emblem but it works for me.
Is that the black/chrome?

I don't know. If not, tap the front speakers.
Did you tap the power wire on the factory HU for the remote wire on the lc2i?
-
Can you be a little more specific or do you have a pic?
Im looking at a privacy cover for the cargo area and in the description it says its for with "high equipment with control arm in rear box"
-
Can anyone explain what this is?
-
What is the color temperature of these DRL?
-
The factory sub output.
Theres one on a SEL?
-
Stock box (heavily modified,) an Lc2i, a Boston sub, and a Boston amp.
Does the Lc2i get hooked up to the door speakers or only the amp/sub?
-
How come i couldnt just swap in an aftermarket Ddin stereo thats also 8in screen instead of MFT? Is it just a matter of havin custom brackets for mounting?
-
You could always cancel that order and order another one.
I picked up my car last week

Anyone know how to remove light scuffs on the rear plastic bumper cover? Only thing i have seen talks about using 120 grit or greater sandpaper then painting. I dont think ours is painted tho
