Is it an actual headache not related to stress? I get an actual headache if I am in the car for a while. Does this happen to you?

Do you get an actual Headache when you drive your car? I dont know if its the burning smell but since I took delivery of my Edge, I get a headache if I drive the car after a while. Does this happen to anyone else? Please let me know.

I love my Edge but the Navigation does need an update. I live a few blocks from Kings Plaza Mall in Brooklyn, NY and I tested the POI's to see if it would lead me to the mall. The Mall isnt even listed on my Navigation!!! This is one of the oldest and, in reality, the only Mall in Brooklyn!! How can it not be listed??????? Microsoft and Ford better get some updates going or people are really going to start feeling that they have a very inferior product compared to all the aftermarket items sold cheaper in Circuit City, Staples, Radio Shack and Best Buy. With all the commercials and ads proclaiming SYNC as the next coming of car technology, I believe that the Navigation system should be cutting edge as well. I mean, it doesnt even offer "real time" traffic updates!!! C'mon Ford and Microsoft get with it!!!! Acura has been offering it for two years now!!!

I would love to see what that DVD player looks like.

They do control the dealers. They can put pressure on all the Service Managers to make sure that all customer complaints and comments are directed to the Service Managers. This way all issues would be addressed as they pop up. Also, if a specific problem should continue to show up Ford should issue a recall immediately. I bet if Ford did this, their CSI would go thru the roof and they would eventually catch up to Toyota!

Its little things like this which keep our American Car companies one step behind the Japanese and German manufacturers. The Edge is a great car with a lot of innovations and it can become an ICON for Ford if Ford would just put a little more support behind the car. Yeah, its great to see my car on a commercial every NY Yankees game or to see it trying to chase K.I.T.T. on Knight Rider but c'mon Ford, put some dealer service support behind the car that is saving Ford right now!! Sheesh!! :stats:

I just got my 2008 Ford Edge Limtied AWD last week and from the moment we left the dealer we smelled a burning smell inside the vehicle. My girlfriend thought that the car was on fire. I told her that a lot of new cars smell like that for a couple of miles until all the factory coatings on certain elements burn away or just dissipate. I still smell a burning smell but not as bad and frankly it gives me a headache. I am not ready to go back to the dealer and complain just yet. I am going to try and endure this for a couple of more weeks and hopefully it will go away. GOD WILLING!!

The problem I seem to be having with SYNC is that I have to soft reset my Pocket PC whenever I get into my vehicle in order for SYNC to pick up and connect to my phone. Its soooo annoying!! I was ready to change my naming of SYNC to SUCK. Does anyone that has a POCKET PC have the same problem?

Ok so what all of you are saying is that all I have to do is buy a set of these HID bulbs, open the box, take them out, then unplug my current factory bulbs off my Edge and then just take the new HID BULBS and just plug them into the same slots I just took my factory bulbs out of and everything should just work with no problem?

I agree. I am not going to just take someones word that he has better HID lights and then just fork over $200 bucks and sit and hope that I actually get the darn things. I need to see an actual website then I need to verify that the seller is a true seller with a good product and reputation.

Hi everyone, I just took delivery of my new 2008 Ford Edge Limited AWD in Redfire last Saturday and it is a great car! I almost got an Explorer but my friend who is the manager of the dealership recommended a Edge over the Explorer and he was right. I got mine fully loaded except for the Power Liftgate which I really wanted but they didnt have it in stock. I dont feel I settled though because its still a great car nonetheless. I am still getting used to SYNC but I am sure I will get it to work the way I want soon. Does anyone have trouble with SYNC understanding their voice? I say a command and it starts to do something else!

Ok, I have read this blog and I am more confused than before. All I want to know is what kind of HID bulbs do I get for my 2008 Ford Edge Limited AWD?????
