My 2011 MKX also had a blurry camera. I bought the camera and replaced it myself (10 minute job). After doing so I lost the grid lines. A friend of mine is a mechanic and said that he has run into this before and said that you have to reset the camera using the OBD2 interface. I never bothered as to be honest a prefer the screen without any lines. If you do go to the dealer, try and find out what they do as I would at least be interested to find out. Shawn.

I finally got around to looking for that old camera I had, sorry with travel and Christmas I have been busy. I thought I had it in the glove box, but can't find it. I'll keep on looking, but you maybe out of luck. It was a good thought though Shawn

I live in Ontario and have a spare camera (the lense got cloud and I replaced it. I will gladly send it to whomever for the cost of shipping so they can try it. To install the new one took less then 10 minutes, it may be worth a try for someone. Shawn.

I just installed this on my 2011 MKX. Plug and play install, really straightforward. I live in the GTA Ontario and ordered the Canadian version from Levitown Ford. I called and spor to Benny, he activated it for me. Great dealer and people to work with, I wish my local dealer was as accommodating as Benny was. Works great, I'm guitar pleased. Shawn.

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to take all the photo's. I just picked up my 2011 MKX and am interested in doing this. On your second picture you show the rack bolted down, does it include the new rail cover, or did you have to cut the original one? Thanks Shawn
