My 2013 Edge steering wheel when locked after tilt has up and down play and the lever is looser than normal. It is not bad just a little play. I had some extended warranty work done and they tightened it, but over time has come loose. Does anyone know how to tighten the tilt handle strength. I remember it was hard to tighten lever but now it is easy. Please help if you can.

Hi, 2013 edge owner, just replaced a fran cabin air filter with same one but I am now hearing airflow different than before, checked and everything looks correct, anyone use one and should I have it in with the word up properly visable to me?

I have a Sel AWD 2013. I use Auto feature all the time. I am getting what I say are grunting noises from the HVAC system from time to time. I can say it is consistant in the winter but other seasons not sure as I observe it now. Has any one shared the same issue? I don't want to go to the dealer to be charged for something they cannot find.

Thanks, I would have though the dealer would have done some looking but yet again I had to do it for them. It is fixed and no cost to me.

no they never looked for a bulletin just wanted to diagnose the issue for a fee, i told them no and oil change guy showed me ptu leak and i went back and the powertrain warranty fixed it

I am not sure as it was just done a week ago, would assume so as i have the fluid changed on old one but a good thing to check, thanks.

I have been getting a smell of natural gas or sulfer coming from the hvac system at random times and went to dealer to deal with this, they told me it would be a diagnostic charge and may not find the problem, took it for an oil change and found the culprit. It was a PTU leaking fluid, ended up replacing the whole unit under powertrain warranty and was given rental car for free since it took longer than a day to fix. Wanted all to know this in case you have this issue. I have a 2013 Edge.

Does any one know if you can add a auto switch to the passenger side door on a 2013 ford edge and to the passenger side of the drivers door switches?

I have a 2013 Ford Edge SEL AWD and was wanting to change the side mirrors to the ones with the turn signals. I found some from TASCA Ford Parts, but they come heated and blindspot and memory. I just have heated mirror. Does anyone know if i was to get them and try them would the turn signal and blindspot work since it is the same wires as i would think ford wouldn't change wiring harness just change pins on the mirrors. If anyone could help it would be appreciated.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has tried to add AUTO switches for other windows. I like the AUTO feature and wish they had it for the driver/passenger and passenger. I am sorry if this has been asked before.

Hi, I have a 2013 SEL and the sunroof seems to have a noise coming from it when the sunshade is retracted all the way back. At times there is no noise. I am womdering if the part that holds the reteacted shade rattles or if something needs lubrication. The sound is like a twisting creeking sound not a rattle. If any help can be given before I take it to the dealer to get hosed and charged as they will not find anything wrong, I would appreciate it.

I went to dealer yesturday and they did the TSB for my vehicle built on or before 1/2014 and all is fixed, so if you witness this issue and under waraty off to dealer you go

Thanks for the replies, I will get the TSB done on thursday and than try it out and post results. If it doesn't help I will pull battery negative and try. I find it hard to beleive that changing tire size causes Nav to work incorrectly; dealer should be bombarded with this issue than. I guess if it wasn't so freakin' cold here where I live I'd put the summer tires back on to see. I guess in car Nav and garmin portable Nav have different ways of determining position.

Hi, I have the A4 card for nav and when driving I see nav pointer off from the direction and street on, sometimes just off the the left or right slightly or off by a block and ahead of me. Does anyone experience this and if so what has fixed this. Have appointment with dealer since it is under waranty. Ford told me when I called it is because I changed to smaller winter tires, anyone agree? I went from stock 245-60-18 to 235-65-17 winters. I appreciate the help.

Does somebody have pics of the removal of a 2013 door panel and can make a DIY. I too would like to remove the stock speakers in my 13 and hate to guess as to how to remove the panel.

I was walking towards my edge yesturday and noticed something that looked like it was hanging from the underside of the drivers side of the vehicle. I got on the ground and looked and saw what looked like a cover for something made out of egg crate material a carbord cover with push pins to hold it in place. Mine had a gash in it like someone drove over something and tore it. Does anyone know what this is so i can replace it. There is another one on passenger side of vehicle. I bought this with 13,000 km's, so the last owner did this.

I was at the dealer and asked why my 2013 did not have the front mud flaps and the service guy checked with the vehicles on the lot and with parts and the sales floor and told me it is a fatory add on for the front wheel drive only. It is to stop the throwing of stones when the front wheel engage, mine being AWD doesnt get them since the rear throw stones mostly. I agree with them as all the ones I see are FWD. I just want them as it look funny with a hole for them and nothing there. Oh well, it is what it is.

I would like to customize my front and rear emblem but was wondering how I remove the rear emblem. I figure I have to take off the inner panel on the hatch to get at this. Is this correct?

I had the same issue and when i tapped on the big black platic panel under the steering wheel i could make it happen, I took it to the dealer and we drove on a bumpy road and of course the sound would no duplicate however the mechanic said he heard noises, they fixed it I beleive by insulating the steering column as he said things attached to it could rattle and make noises. Hope this helps all who have this and hopefully this rattle you have is same as mine and yes 2013 SEL AWD.

Hi, I have a 2013 SEL AWD and was wondering why I do not have the front mud flaps that extend from the inner splash sheild of both fenders in front of the wheels. I have seem them on other SEL models and wonder why I do not have them. Would someone chime up and tell me if this is an option as I bought my vehicle used but new from a dealer. I would rather hear here first than bother the dealer as they always give you the runaround that you bought the vehicle that way. I do see a spot for them as the splash sheild has a hole for a push screw. I appreciate the help.

I would like to ask him to see if a harness can be made to make the LED light pipe work without splicing into the headlights as I don't want to void waranty. If anyone can help out with this it would be greatly appreciated.
