Had the same problem with my 2011 Ford Edge, took it to the local dealer and they are repairing it free of charge. Also got a free loaner vehicle while mind is in the shop.

I just brought a 2011 Ford edge and love it, but have noticed a brake problem. On several occasions while applying the brake for a stop sign or red light, the brake pedal was hard to push and it seemed that it would not even move. On one occasion I even rolled through a stop sign and eventually came to a stop. Has anyone had this experience or heard of it. Will be taking it to the Ford Dealer this week. Thanks James
