  1. when I installed a K&N filter on my mustang cobra, I increased my miles per tank by 30-40 miles. So, no urban myth here.
  2. Hi, I would like to recommend Kenly Ford, in Kenly, NC. They are located along I95 east of the Raleigh area. They were very, very friendly, and very attentive to our needs. We drove two hours to purchase a vehicle from them. When we are in the market for another vehicle, they will get our business. If you are within a decent drive from them, go check them out! http://kenlyfordinc.com/
  3. that looks really good, Travis. I am going to do this to my 2012 Edge SEL. I like the chrome look, but after seeing the Sport models, I think it would look real good. How has it been holding up so far? What did you cover the grill opening with?
  4. for the black plastic trim I use Poorboy's World Trim Restorer. I love it, works great, and is quite durable. Smells good, too. www.poorboysworld.com I, also, use their Pro Polish, Natty Blue and Red wax, basically this is the brand I prefer. I use pro polish, then blackhole glaze to pop the metallic, EX-P sealant, then a coat of natty blue wax, two coats if I am up to it.
  5. in my experiences with these kits, just get the filter. The piping is not going to net you much, if anything. The filter will net you a few more mpg's. Don't over oil the filter, will gunk up your MAF sensor
  6. Hey, I bought a used 2012 Ford Edge SEL back in January. Really loving this vehicle. I drive 21 miles each way to work. I have been averaging between 27-28.5 mpg, getting 430-445 per tank. I have the V6 model. It is the Dark Blue Pearl Metallic color, with black cloth interior.
