Ive had the black one on my black Edge Sport grill for two years and it looks like brand new

So what halogens did you try? Halogens will give you more usable light as you have a halogen projector on your edge. HID is just going to be whiter and appear brighter due to foreground lighting

The only ones Id even consider were the Piaa Ultrawhite ... They were the best ot the many I tried. I still have them in my garage workshop...gathering dust

HID's are so much brighter and project 2X the beam of the halogens

Soooooooo many problems with the newly redesigned Edge ...... sunroof, water leaks, windows breaking, AC/Heat, backup camera...and more !

Reminds me when I got my newly redesigned Corvette.......more time in the shop then in my garage.

You'd think Ford would have cleaned up the gremlins by now but my neighbors new edge has been back to the shop 3 times in the 6 months they have owned it !

I tried every bulb for my edge and they all sucked.! Finally did the hid kit from daytimebrightlites.com .... OMG what an amazing product ! Install was about an hour with easy step by step instructions ( I actually went above and beyond and wrapped all the wiring) Dan at dayrimebrightlites is a member and has awesome products......wish I could afford their taillight kit. ! Dont fall for the cheap imitations on ebay...!

No they have not been released yet, but the Q5/SQ5 is the SUV version of the A4/S4 -- same engines, higher weight, better cooling, higher ECU tunings.... so the numbers are speculated.

But now that I look at it closer, those numbers aren't the ones used in North America. NEDC is considered unrealistically optimistic, even in Europe where it's used. Also, I don't know how to convert it to our standards. The A4 which is a 4-banger with 252hp gets 8.8L/100km in Canada... so I guess maybe 12L/100km for the performance V6, which is closer to the 15-16L/100km for the Ford V6 engines. So I stand corrected on that. And then there is the fact that Fords can get away with using regular gas while Audis require premium... it likely levels the playing field to an insignificant difference.

 

Get what makes you happy. I have an Edge Sport and I love it. My friend has an Audi SUV...that's beautiful and very classy....on the days it's not in the dealer service bay

The $84.00 difference isn't worth the hassle of buying it on EBay, waiting for delivery and hoping the part is correct. Don't forget the dealer is doing the installation for free. Sounds like a dealer that wants you to return.

Ford replaced the shifter at no cost to me...My Edge is out of warranty too !

Griffith Ford in Seguin Texas even gave me a loaner while they waited for the new shifter to come in.......3 day turnaround

Addendum.....my "bumper to bumper" Ford extended warranty refused to cover the shift to park fix !

Dealer thought it was covered also...but Ford said NO.

I had the Yokohama Spec X and got 24 thousand miles out of them....very disappointed !

I got Toyo Proxes S/T on my Edge SPORT and they are holding up very well....I love these tires

I feel that with Michelin tires (which are good) you pay for the name more then the tire itself

I also used Kleenflo Teflon spray after a solid hour of cleaning the rails...down to a q tip to get in all the razor sharp grooves

Im a retired Flight Nurse /Paramedic so the sight of blood never bothers me....unless its mine !!!!

Corvette owners are incensed about waving at each other.

I seldom waved back but preferred looking out for Cops with the burning desire to bag a Vette

Ive not been waved at by any other Edge owners

Didnt buy my Edge Sport from them but went to them for service.

Loaner Car, Updates, no charges to do the fix.

Dont know about the fitment issue but I had a GMC pickup that I put Yokohama Prada SpecX on and they were gone at 20,000 miles

Got my Edge Sport back with a new shifter assembly.

Total cost to me......$ 0

The TSB just says to replace the shifter assembly. It doesn't change the warranty status.

My 2013 Edge Sport has just recently started telling me to "Shift to Park" when Ive got it in park in the garage. Ive resrted it shifted to reverse then to park and still get the message. Is there a recall regarding this ?

Ford should make it impossible to open the gasoline door without the fob being within 2 feet of the gas door
