I have a 2013 Ford Edge SE with a single cd player in it and when I travel I can not play cd's without them acting like they have a scratch in them (yes, I looked for scratched on the cd and found none). When I eject the cd its very hot to touch.. Once the car is shut off and cooled down I can start my car and play that same cd with no problems. Can anyone please tell me what is happening? And is there a fix for it? Thanks!

Hi! I am new to forums and a new Edge owner. I have a 2013 Edge and within in the first month of owning it I had a rock chip my windshield, but thankfully it could be repaired. And after owning it 3 months I had another rock hit my windshield and this time it could not be repaired. I have a new windshield that Thankfully my insurance covered except for my deductible. 3 months ago I had another rock hit my windshield and crack it, but that was fixable. I now have another one. I am not a crazy driver, but I do have to take the highway to work everyday. I have had other ford vehicles and when a rock has hit the windshield it never cracked it like this vehicle. Is there anyone else that has this problem? Thanks
