  1. Knew what she was buying, No complaints, just aiming to gain as much mpg as possible. My goal in all my vehicles and bikes, is to compliment the looks and asthetics as well as gain performance and fuel mileage. Yeah we also get allot of compliments on the 22's, personally I think they would looks better all gloss Black which is what I still may do and make them her summer set. Hybrids not for me, but thanks for your input.
  2. SpecialK, Here is a photo of the Rear Rotor . Since there is more openly exposed metal on the rear rotors, the E coating compliments the look.
  3. Newb here. I have been searching for 20" rim replacements for my wife's 2011 Edge Sport for the past 2 months. She travels the state day to day and gets 22mpg on average. I wanted to get her average mileage up to at least 24. Green filter was the first add on. While I was replacing her rotors this past weekend, I decided to weight one of these 22" monsters with lugs since I keep seeing 85lbs out here. I saw 74lbs without lugs and 75 with lugs. I have settled on a set of Advanti Bello 20" with a set of Yokohama YK580 265/50r20". New YokoTires weigh in at 37lbs and Bello rims are at 29.35 lbs. total 66.35lbs then add TPS sensors and balancing weight, should still be around a 6 to 8lb savings per wheel. The price of these rims are very reasonable right now. For those who have swapped from 22" to 20" on the Sport with Yokohama tires, what changes were notcieable? Photos soon once they arrive.
  4. No I haven't used R1 Concepts before. I searched different vendors on the web. Their name caught my attention because I used to owe and race Yamaa R1 bikes. I really wanted the EBC Sport rotors but very costly. http://www.r1concepts.com/t-faq.aspx If I run into any issues with them, I will inform the board. So far so good.
  5. Wife purchased a used 2011 Sport In April. 34k when we purchased to. at 39K is when I could feel a slight vibration under breaking. Still had about 1/2 pad life left. Rear pads were more worn than front but still not down to indicators. These softer metals wear allot faster. I would say stopping 75lb wheels to boot adds some heat. Replaced front and rear rotors and pads this past Sunday with a set of R1 Concepts Premier Series Cross Drilled Rotors and pads. These also are E coated since we are in Ohio and they pound the roads with salt in the winter months. Thought I would share some photos as well. Whole kit was $500. Kit R1 Concepts CPX11124
