Im wondering if its isn't a "warning date" of sorts to try to get it taken care of asap to help out customers procrastinating on getting their vehicles in for repairs. Jim

I ended up getting a used gas tank and my mechanic painted it with undercoating to prevent any rusting. All in all it cost me nearly $1000. Im hoping now with the recall that I can get reimbursed for this. Jim

I bought a 2007 Ford Edge this spring with under 70K miles on it. Now I have the same problem with my fuel tank and not only is the tank way over priced but they are backordered for unknown amount of time. Evidently there is a very well known problem that needs to be addressed. Im surprised there isn't any stories of these burning up!!!!! Ive been a loyal Ford owner for years but if they don't correct this Im looking elsewhere!
