I have a 2007 Lincoln MKX. Started out with slight fuel smell. When it got very strong had tank checked and it's rotted. Ford refuses to address what is clearly a defect and a major safety issue. I filed a complaint with NHTSA but I'm stuck with the repair. I've always purchased Ford products. My first new car was an 87 Tbird. I planned on sticking with Ford but this has really cast doubt on them as a company. I was looking at an f150 or f250 because I wanted to buy American. Now I'm thinking Dodge or an import crossover/SUV.
