  1. LOL reading a manual is no fun. There are still buttons I have not used yet.
  2. How cool, I didn't know that. My sales guy didn't' know much about the model and assumed that since I had the 13 model sport, that I knew it all I guess. Thanks for the tip.
  3. Hey guys dumb chick question, I have my 2015 Sport AWD, never went past "D", doesn't "S" stand for Select Shift? Don't you have to use the paddle shifters to shift in "S" selection? I will look into this going home today, but I am feeling silly if I didn't know I had a sport mode. lol.
  4. Rextang you were right, it was the hose coming off the intercooler, the clamp was loose and it worked it's way off and the tech took all day to put it back on tight, I will hope it will remain on, but will not hold my breath to see it. Thanks!
  5. Here is the update: I didn't have the wrench lamp on, but did have the check engine lamp on, took it to Ford first thing on Friday morning. They ran the codes, didn't tell me what they found, but said it was a hose that came off the intercooler. The tech said it took him all day to get it back on and clear the codes as it was under everything else. Then he drove it to see if it had pickup and it did. Powerstroke: I only drove it home and to work which was under $100 miles, but I understand your concern. Ford service didn't have any objection to my waiting, didn't say I could ruin my engine either. I will push next time to get it in sooner. They are buried under transmission issues in ford focus from what I heard. Next the tech looked into my rattle in the pano moonroof. He said that it didn't rattle on his 2 min test drive. I didn't get a call tho, I walked in the door at the end of the day and we went for a quick ride, but it was 92 degrees, humid as all heck and did no rattle! I was so frustrated. I can't keep dropping my car off at Ford to have the rattle listened too when it's 70 and dry and early in the am, only to wait till 3 pm when hot and humid to test drive it. Sad thing is, it rattles for me all the time. Did it today on the way. I played the videos I took of it. They said it's proof, so the service agent said they would call Ford and ask the techs what should be done for my rattle, based on other drivers having this complaint or possibly other models that have the pano moonroof that have this complaint. They would call me back this week and let me know what they find out. I told them I won't hold my breath. I may be moving onto my 3rd ford dealer in August. 4 service visits and still no fix to the rattle. The Edge is fast again though thankfully, until it falls off again....
  6. I agree. I purchased the ESP for this car as well, even if I don't keep them very long. Never know what will pop up.
  7. Update as I was driving home last night (before dealer visit) I had to stop on the gas and go around someone and my service engine and powertrain / awd malfunction lights both came on. The service engine light is staying on after restart. Seems to drive ok. RPMs are not exceptionally high. Was up to 55 MPH today. At least now I know that Ford will get some codes and be able to replace something Friday. I hope this won't be a chronic issue for my Edge.
  8. Rextang, I checked the hose coming off the intercooler and it is tight at both ends and clamped tight. I am not sure but I think so. Check out my photos on my other post when you can. Thanks.
  9. ok here is the youtube video of the rattle: https://youtu.be/J6_GA4INC1Y Thanks WingNut.
  10. I had the same rattle you mention, but from the the B pillar on passenger side. I thought it was the pano roof myself. Dealer adjusted the B pillar, replaced a clip and tightened everything. Sounds quieter when closed, but if open or popped up, I still have the pano moon roof rattle. Good luck.
  11. I owned a 2013 Ford Edge Sport AWD Ruby Red! I miss it. Never one issue with 30,000 miles on it. I have owned the 08 Limited, 11 and 12 Limited and 13 and 15 Sport all AWD Edges. Love them! (yes I have a problem with changing out cars)
  12. Thanks guys. I noted that post as well and printed it out for dealer, the service tech didn't comment on it when I picked up the car, sadly. I found a ton of posts about this Fault issue but in the Escape, Taurus, older Fusions, etc. One said it was the ETC, one said accelerator pedal assembly sensor. Who knows. But it seems to be intermittent. I just started it up and ran it around here a bit, no wrench. Still sluggish but not restricted to first gear or anything. I am glad I was ok too. Some folks were not so lucky. One person got hit, one was almost jack knifed by a semi! I will update once I have it serviced Friday. Hope I can drive it until then.
  13. Hey Edge enthusiasts. I started a new thread here as my other one didn't contain what I am experiencing now. I have 2,040 miles on my 2015 Edge Sport AWD. Had it since May. Among my list of concerns I started having a new one two weeks ago. I was on i88 going about 65 mph and went to pass on the left and I had no boost, no horsies. It was almost an accident as the driver behind me was going faster then I was when it failed and he was NOT happy with me (gave me the universal sign as he floored his taurus around me). I heard some odd noise when it happened, can't say if it was a boom or a hiss or what. But when I accelerate now I hear a hissing noise, like blowing air escaping but little boost. I am getting great gas mileage now, though, was getting about 19 which is great on AWD Edge Sport for my driving. But now am at 22! Anyway, I took it in for service and they said they reprogramed the computer and it should adjust and correct itself. Well today on a turn, I got the Powertrain / AWD system failure alarm (wrench) on the dash. First time. Ford said to get it in soon. So I will update after it's looked at. Going to hit them up to fix my sunroof rattle for the 4th time since they can't seem to figure it out!! My saga continues.... I recently posted two files to this edited posting showing that I believe my intercooler hoses are connected.
  14. Hello. Here is an update after my Edge was at a different dealer then I previous serviced it at. They had it from 7 am until 4 pm and resolved the TSB for the leak (which I did not experience). They managed to update the PCM (?) to correct the Driver Alert warnings I was receiving. Also stated that the update would correct the slow to accelerate I experience now. However, it is still slow to accelerate and I hear a odd pressure sound when I press on the gas pedal. Plastic ground effect needed a large clip and it is fine now. The guy tightened up the A pillars on both sides to correct the pano roof rattles. However, this only softened the rattle when closed. When I hit bumps I hear it, also when it is up or open it rattles all the time. I will take it to a local dealer near me on August 14th as I had the tech drive with me and he said it is the track and if he holds the glass roof up it will not rattle. So the saga continues and I will visit my 3rd Ford dealer for these two issues that remain.
  15. alzakx, I was able to take some videos of the rattles in the roof. But they are too large to attach. I did convert my recorded note to a smaller format, but it's not as good.
